Lottie London & Mac Haul.♡

Hey Everyone! I have a Lottie London and a Mac Haul today. I am super excited because I have never tried Lottie London before but I have been seeing it all over Youtube/Blogs so I thought I would hop over to their website and try some products. I added a few products in this post that I bought online from Mac aswell. Happy Reading!xo

Lottie London
The first thing I picked up is the Shimmer Squad. Seeing this all over Youtube and blogs just made me want to buy it, because it looks so beautiful. I love highlighter's and will never stop adding to my collection so when I got the Shimmer Squad in the mail I was so excited and just had to swatch them. They are crazy pigmented, for a drugstore product the pigmentation is amazing. They also felt so smooth and soft, very blendable and easy to apply. You get four shades in the palette. A pearl white, Bronze, Champagne and a pinky beige. All so pigmented and beautiful!

Next I got the Shadow Swatch Eye Shadow Palette called The Rusts. This caught my eye because of all the warm, "rust" shades. You have 12 beautiful shades that are a mixture of matte and shimmer. They are formulated to last long, blend easy and apply smooth with a soft texture. When I had a little swatch of some of the shades they feel soft and when I applied it onto my hand and blended it in, it felt almost buttery and the pigmentation blew me away. I want to get more of these palettes because the way they feel and how insane the pigmentation is. This palette allow's me to create a smokey, glamorous look or a daytime neutral look.

that is all I bought from Lottie London as I am going shopping with my Mum soon so I will pick up more things and I will get to see it all in person rather than online. Onto The Mac Haul...

The first thing I got from Mac is the Pro Shaping Powder " Emphasize" this is a micro fine shaping powder formulated to high light the face. It has a soft focus technology that "emphasizes" and adds a subtle brightening effect on the face. This is used to set under eye concealer and bring light to the face on the points you add highlighters. This gives a beautiful glow from within and it's super pigmented, creamy and soft.

I decided to pick up a blush since I only own two blushes from Mac so I wanted to try others out because I do like the formula as they are so creamy, blendable and pigmented. I picked Melba as it looks like nothing I have in my collection. Melba is a delicate warm, peach, pinky coral that is a matte finish and super pigmented.

Next I bought Tempting Eyeshadow. I have been collecting Mac eye shadow's recently because I have fallen in love with them, their shades and formulas. Tempting is a warm, rich, soft, golden bronze. I love bronze shades as it makes my brown eyes pop so I am super excited to pop this on my eyes. The shade is so beautiful.

I also picked up Antiqued Eye Shadow which I feel is such a classic mac eyeshadow that most people own because it's so pretty. Antiqued is a warm, coppery, rust, brown. It has a velvet, vibrant formula with a metallic shimmer. So beautiful!

That is it for my haul, I do hope you enjoyed reading! I hope to see you back soon. Make sure you subscribe by email so you don't miss any of my posts and feel free to follow me on all my social media. Links in the side>>> xo

Lush Haul. ♡

Hey loves. I am doing a Lush haul today yay! The last time I ordered lush was before Christmas so I was in need of some more lush goodies. I ordered online and it came today so I thought I would share what I bought. xo

Mask Of Magnaminty-♡
This is my all time favourite face mask from Lush! I love the way my skin feels super clean and detoxified but baby soft and moisturised. It pulls out all the junk, impurities and grime without over drying the skin because one of the ingredients is honey to be an antiseptic and moisturise. This mask is super minty feeling and smelling, The ingredient peppermint oils helps stimulate the skin while adding that Cooling and invigorating feeling. This mask also has little beads which gently exfoliate the skin combating blackheads, dry skin and clogged pores. It's a great mask every skin type should have, to just pull everything out and restart the skin without drying it out. Mask Tip: Put me in the fridge and I will intensify the minty, cooling sensation!

I was super excited when I saw that my favourite bubble bar The Comforter has a shower cream to go with it! The Comforter is so sweet and fruity and comforting such a perfect name because it really does comfort you. Its a " cuddle in a bottle" also it's super moisturising as one of the ingredients is a Vitamin rich almond oil to leave the skin baby soft. Oh and it's a gorgeous candy bubble gum pink which is so girly!

I have not had a massage bar from Lush in a loooong time so I thought I would treat myself and buy one. I remember I always love the scent of the Soft Coeur massage bar because it's super warm, sweet and delicious because it smells of honey and chocolate. It has honey, cocoa butter, shea butter, almond oil and toffee and a chocolate centre. So you can imagine how sweet and yummy this smells. With Massage bars you just smooth it over your body and it starts to melt into an oil/moisturiser on your skin. They are super high intense moisturising and softening on the skin, as well as adding a gorgeous sweet smell.

I have never had a bath oil from lush because I have always been overwhelmed with the bath bombs, bubble bars and shower jelly's that I have never really looked at the bath oils so I finally bought one. This smells incredible!! You place this in the bath and watch it melt away transforming your bath water into a softening, moisturising, luxurious, milky, sweet smelling sanctuary. The Mmmelting Marshmallow moment is a bright yellow and pink bar with a sweet candyfloss, marshmallow scent.

This is a cute, girly, playful bubble bar. I love the bubble bar's on a stick because they are reusable. You swirl it around your bath, creating the best, softest, biggest, playful bubbles then take it out and store in a cool and dry place to reuse again. The Pink Flamingo bubble bar has a girly playful scent is has rosewood and ylang ylang, softening cocoa and shea butter and refreshing bergamot. It's super cute, girly and turns your bathwater pink!!

This is so girly! a little pink rose in the middle of a pink and purple bomb. It smells so floral and of essential oils. It has jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Clary sage and soy milk to soften. This is used as a sensual, aromatherapy stress and anxiety soother. Which I am all about! I heard that is has an actual little rose petal, or flower inside which will be so cute! The whole aromatherapy, girly vibe with this bath bomb makes me so excited to use it.

Dry Skin people, grab this bath bomb! This is not a exciting bath bomb, but I love it because of how incredible it makes my skin from head to toe feel.  This makes your bath water super soft, moisturising and milky. This soothes dry, flaky skin and replenishes it. It has little cocoa butter pieces that melt, coating your skin with a light buttery, softening blanket that smells so yummy. It has ylang ylang to add aromatherapy and treat stress. It relaxes the nervous system and comforters you in a vanilla blanket of a softening, creamy, milky water.

Picking The Perfect Face Mask For You.♡

Hey Hunnies♡ As a skincare junkie I love trying all different products but especially face masks. I think they are so essential in everybody's skincare drawers. With so many face masks on the market it can get so overwhelming so I thought I would help in someway and break it down a little, talk about the different types of masks, what they do and maybe it can help you find the perfect mask for your skin needs. Disclaimer: I am not a skincare specialist, doctor or in the skincare industry I just have been a skincare junkie, researcher and built up a good knowledge of skincare products and the ingredients. Also I am not including ALL masks as this would be a looong post .Please Subscribe by clicking the follow button and follow me on my social medias links in the sidebar>> Happy Reading xo

Charcoal&Clay-♡
Let's start with the most popular face mask the Charcoal & Clay. If you are oily or acne prone skin this is perfect for you and your skin needs. Clay & Charcoal masks unclog pores, draw out impurities, removes the excess sebum ( oil ) Fights acne, reduces blemishes, tightens, firms and tones the skin. Charcoal & Clay masks have ingredients like tea tree oil, sulphur and Charcoal which are great to treat acne. I have dry skin so I use these masks every now and then, at the end of the week when I want to pull out everything from my skin and restart. I feel everyone with every skin type needs to "restart" there skin by pulling out all the dirt, oil, left over products and bacteria which you can do by using Clay & Charcoal masks . Then put in all the moisture back into the skin by using beauty oils and moisturisers.

My Favourite Charcoal & Clay Masks...
Exfoliating Masks.♡
These are one of my favourite types of masks. I have dry skin so I love anything exfoliating but they are for all skin types as they do so much for your skin. Apart from the obvious removing dead skin cells from the surface, Exfoliating masks also tighten, brighten, slow ageing, remove excess sebum, clear blackheads and blemishes, unclog pores and treat acne prone skin. Exfoliating masks leave the skin healthy looking, brighter, refreshed and feeling so smooth because you have took away all the rough, textured dead skin. These masks can have grains or beads that you gently rub into your skin with circular motions when applying or taking off the mask. Some Exfoliating masks don't have any beads or grains in like Chemical or Enzyme Masks they contain gentle exfoliating acids like Lactic, Glycolic and Salicylic. Too much Exfoliating can be bad for your skin so be careful.

My Favourite Exfoliating Masks...
Sheet Masks.♡
These have to be my least favourite because they are so fiddly and slip and slide which cause me to get all frustrated and I end up tearing them by accident. I just don't have the patience but that is just me. Sheet masks are actually so good for your skin and for all skin types plus they make you look like a bank robber and you can scare people around your house. By applying a sheet mask to your face, letting it sit and soak, the ingredients are going deeper into your skin. They are disposable, pre cut sheets that are made of fibres or gel that are packed with nutrient serums, collagen boosting ingredients and hydrating moisture. Retinol and Peptide in sheet masks brighten, soften, hydrate, plump, smooth, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. You can also cut sheet masks up to apply under the eyes for a " eye mask treatment" This will help de puff, help with collagen, hydration and refresh the eyes.

My Favourite Sheet Masks...
Hydrating Masks.♡
My little saviours, these will be your best friend if you have dry skin. Hydrating masks do the obvious " hydrate" the skin aswell as prevent dull, dry, flakey, rough, textured, dehydrated skin leaving it glowy, plump, moisturised and baby soft. Hydrating masks are so easy to work with as some are " overnight" treatments or you tissue off after 10-15-20 minutes. Once you use a hydrating mask you will notice how baby soft, hydrated and healthy your skin will look also you will realise that your skin probably needed a " drink". Hydrating masks provide our skin with a big glass of water, you can have oily skin but dehydrated so you need to give it that big glass of water to drink up. These masks are great for anti ageing as they slow down wrinkles, fine lines and feed the skin collagen.

My Favourite Hydrating Masks...
Caffeine Masks.♡
That beautiful cup of coffee in the morning that wakes you up, giving you that boost well a face mask containing Caffeine or a Caffeine mask do the same but to your skin. These face masks give you brighter, tighter, glowing skin reducing inflammation, redness, dull and dark under eyes/skin. Tones, boosts collagen, firms and leaves your skin brighter, calmer and plump aswell as your under eyes awakened and depuffed. I love Caffeine masks because they do make you feel that " new woman" feeling as if you have had a mini facelift. They feed your skin energising, tightening and brightening properties. So if you have had a restless night and need to be looking on point in the morning apply a Caffeine Mask.

My Favourite Caffeine Mask...
Thermal Masks-
These are so relaxing and soothing, I love using Thermal Masks as a spa relaxation treatment. Thermal Masks self heat on the skin, Encouraging the skin to breathe and open up the pores so the ingredients like Charcoal, Kaolin and Essential Oils can deeply sink into the skin. Thermal Masks remove the bacteria, dirt, grime and deeply cleanse the skin. Every time I use Thermal Masks my skin feels so relaxed, purified, cleansed and baby soft. I feel like my pores are unclogged, I feel my skin can breathe. I feel oily and acne prone skin will benefit the most from thermal masks as they are similar to Clay & Charcoal  but  every skin type will love them as they can do alot for your skin.
