A blog ramble: Ins and Outs!❤

I'm feeling rather snuggly tonight, I am all cosy in my big bed with candles flickering, fairy lights glowing, my humidifier changing colours and pouring out a yummy scent and I have some chocolate to munch on. I was feeling like writing a blog post tonight, something laid back so I thought to do an ins and outs post. Elle Fowler done these posts on her blog and I enjoyed reading them so that is what I am going to do. Something about writing a blog post sometimes can be so therapeutic to me. Enjoy!xo  PS: if you don't know what an ins and outs post is here is Elle's blog post ( HERE )

I heart Christmas by Lindsey Kelk: This book was so fun to read over the Christmas period and I am so sad I have read it all. I started reading it on the last day of November and wanted to try and finish it by Christmas day and I finished it on Christmas Eve. It was so festive reading a Christmas themed book. I heart series by Lindsey Kelk is my favorite books, They are so fun and easy and take you out of your stresses for a little bit.

My Mum: I am getting cheeseball here but I have such an amazing mother. She does so much for me and has such a warm, gentle, kind heart. I don't know what I would do without her she has shaped me into who I am. She is my best friend who I share things with and be silly and giggle with, My sister when we argue over silly things and share eachothers wardrobes and my mum sharing mother daughter moments, and that special bond! I love how close we are and how she has taught me how to be the woman I am today.  She has such a heart that gives me love and care every single day, I am so blessed to have a mother with true love and care in her heart for me and looks after me, supports me and cares for me! I am a proud daughter to have such a talented mum when she does her nail art and with a nail art blog of her own with amazing amount of followers and support that makes me even more prouder! I love you mum, for ever and always! x

Chicken Pasta: Speaking of my mum she makes yummy chicken pasta which has become a little addiction for me... I crave it all the time, and want to eat it all the time!

Outs( dislikes, hates, whats not so good right now)

2015: This year has been so difficult, stress, hard and emotionally and physically draining. Just one thing after another, one stress after another, one hard thing to tackle after another!

Bye Bye Christmas: Oh it's so sad, Christmas is over till next time! I love Christmas so much, and I feel its come and gone to fast. Moving on because I'm to sad about this...

LUSH: This is hard to even type, because me and Lush have been besties for years! The time has come when I'm not a fan of Lush anymore. I went to buy my Christmas stash from Lush like I do every December, Normally I come out with a big bag full of Lush goodies, this year I came out with 0 bag! I was so unhappy with the Christmas products they came out with this year, everything was covered in thick glitter or the scents was not that nice or the price was shocking! Is it just me or has LUSH prices shot up? I then got told by the woman who works there that my all time favourtie bubble bar Christmas eve Bubble bar is no longer coming back!!!!! I was so disappointed with the prices, Christmas line and that they have took away the good ones I loved. Lush me and you are going to fall out soon!!

Hurting my back: A week or so before Christmas I hurt my back don't I. I was putting on a belt for my jeans and I twisted funny and hurt my back, the pain was horrible it was so painful trying to walk around the shops doing last minute Christmas shopping. Thankfully my back is a lot better and I can finally move and walk without wanting to cry. I do get the odd pain with some movements or bending down, Hurting my back by putting on a belt typical me!

No snow or Christmassy weather- Liverpool's weather has been rubbish for Christmas, No snow or wintry days. It's been rather mild and not freezing! Bit sad because it would of made Christmas alot more fun!

So that is all my ins and outs for now, I feel so relaxed and calm and its nice to have a ramble without worrying about fancy pictures and professional wording. So nice to just be laid back for once! Hope you enjoyed reading and please let me know some of your ins and outs?

Stocking Filler Ideas!! ❤

STOCKING FILLER IDEAS!

Christmas is nearly here, and we all have that moment of panic when we look at the Christmas countdown and realise the days are zooming by and that voice pops in your head " you still need to buy them stocking fillers, what are you going to buy " . Don't worry if you are needing some inspiration/ideas you have come to the right place. I have pulled together some ideas for stocking fillers/little gifts. Happy Shopping xo

Diaries- For the organisers or people who need to be organised!
Everyone needs a diary, whether you are the Mother with all the family appointments, The friend with the big job and need to organise the diary but use a sticky note instead, or the sister in school with the school work and exam dates. A diary is something everyone will appreciate. I would also suggest adding a pack of pens, if your buying for the friend who has the big job a classy pen set, the sister who is in school maybe gel pens or something fun.

Personalised Mug- For the hot drinkers!
who does not love a personalised gift? Everyone loves a new mug, The ones in the office are stained, the ones in the house are cracked and the only ones that are usable are the kids Disney cups. If you buy a brand new mug for someone with a personalised message or their name that will be a really sweet gift. Imagine your friend, she or he has had a rough night, they wake up for their morning coffee and see your mug that you personalised for them, it makes them smile and feel a little better. Maybe even pop their favourite brand or coffee or tea or a yummy set of biscuits in the stocking as a little something extra it also shows you really thought about the gift and you know that person well!

Purses/Wallets- For the shoppers!
If your female or male everyone uses a purse or wallet. I feel it's the one thing we all tend to forget about re purchasing when the purse or wallet is in bad shape and we desperately need a new one but forget about it because that new Eye shadow palette is on the top of the list, or that new video game or the kids clothes. Having a new purse or wallet is something everyone will appreciate because it's something that is used all the time. Make sure you know who your buying for, does she like pink or red? What colour is her bag will it clash or match? Does she like leopard print or plain? Is she a fan of bling or something classy? Is he into designer names or not fussed? It might just be any purse but to them, having a purse that you picked out because of what they like is more meaningful then just picking up any purse or wallet. Maybe as something extra buy a bag charm for her and a voucher for him?

Candles- For the relaxers.
Candles are the best in winter, all cosy with the flickering candle and the gorgeous scents that some of them produce what a great little gift for someone. Not just anyone, someone who loves relaxing, someone who loves to enjoy a bubble bath with candles, someone who loves to scatter candles around their home and create homey scents in each room. Make sure the person you're buying for appreciates a good candle. Make sure you know what scents they like, and what scents are around their homes. Throw in some scented tea lights and a lighter!

Slippers and socks- For the lazy Sunday people!
Christmas is not Christmas without a new pair of slippers and fluffy socks or regular socks! These are fabulous stocking ideas or gifts for people who love to lounge around in slippers or slip their feet into fluffy socks. Maybe add a foot treatment set to pamper their feet with before slipping into their new socks and slippers.

Phone cases- For the always on their phone people!
Everyone has a phone these days, kids, teens, adults, even elder people like our Nan's and Granddads! A phone case is a fab little gift especially if that person is getting a new phone for Christmas or is always attached to their phones and needs a protective but classy case for it. Ebay and Amazon are great for finding lovely cases. As always make sure you know that person you're buying for, what phone do they have? are they a blingy type or subtle and cute? Are they gold lovers or fan of the whites and clears? To add to your gift you could buy a phone holder for their bedside table, desk or vanity. Or if that is something you don't want to buy maybe a pair of earphones? Maybe a speaker for their phone?

Manicure or Eyebrow set-For the Pretty and primped.
This is great for a girl or boy who is into keeping their nails in shape and well treated. A good manicure set is fabulous, you get all that you need to keep the nails looking beautiful. A eyebrow set is also a great idea for the males or girls who have their eyebrows always looking on point. Guys can appreciate a good eyebrow set to trim away them long eyebrow hairs and every girl needs the tools for getting the eyebrows on point!

Colouring book and felts- For the kids, or the big kids ;)
Adult colouring books are on the market now so why not get someone a colouring book for the big kid inside them? Is your mum or sister or friend into arts and likes to paint, draw or colour? It's a great idea for relaxation and something to do. Kids love colouring books so you cannot go wrong with a kids Christmas colouring book. Add some fancy felt tips and pencils and that is a well thought of gift or stocking stuffer!

Cds and Dvds- For the music lovers and Film buffs!
Susan from work is always singing a Rihanna song, why not pick her up the Rihanna CD? Mick your brother is always talking about the mission impossible films why not grab him the dvds? And your mum, she can't stop quoting scenes from the Friends episodes she has seen on TV, why not get the box set for her? Grab your music lovers a CD of their favourite artists, or if you're not too sure on what to get pick up the Now that's what I call music cds, or Ministry of sound so they have a selection. For the film buffs pick some DVDS out that they like or might like, Or their favourite TV series box set!

A cook book, or cooking tools- For the ones who make the food taste yummy!
If your Dad or boyfriend or Mum or Nan loves to cook, works as a cook or wants to try to cook why not grab them a good cook book? It's always a gift appreciated if they are into cooking or want to get into cooking. Your mum likes the sweet treats and cakes so grab a desert cook book. Your dad likes the Italian or Indian foods, grab a Indian or Italian recipe cook book. Or if they have a million cook books stored in the kitchen why not grab them some cooking tools? every chef likes new cooking tools right?

Chocolates- For the Chockaholics!
Everyone loves chocolates and Christmas is filled with chocolates and everyone is enjoying treating their sweet tooth. A box of chocolates will always be loved around Christmas. Even a cute Chocolate Santa or chocolate coins!

Wine- For the wine'o clockers!
If that person in your family or friends is a lover for a glass of wine at the end of the day why not pick up their favourite wine and pop it in their stocking or a gift bag? It's Christmas and the wine is never not pouring into the glasses so why not also grab them a cute wine glass or a classy wine glass for them to enjoy their wine out of?, so treat your friend or family member with a bottle...or two!

That is all the ideas I can pull together for now, I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope you have a merry Christmas xo

Skincare want list! ❤

The Merry Christmas Tag.

Merry Christmas Tag!

Hello everyone, I am wearing a Santa hat, playing Christmas music and feeling rather festive right now. What better time to do a fun Christmas tag on my blog! This is the Merry Christmas tag, I just grabbed questions that I liked from different Christmas tags and put it all in one tag. I tag everyone reading and hope you enjoy.

1. On a scale of 1-10 how much are you in the Christmas spirit?
Well I am wearing a Santa hat, singing along to Christmas songs and doing a Christmas tag so I am feeling a 9 right now.

2. Obviously you have to watch Christmas movies, what is your favourite?
The Grinch has to be my all time favourite Christmas movie! Every Christmas Eve me and my family snuggle up on the couch and watch this movie. It's such a great movie and something special because it's part of our Christmas eve tradition.  I love everything about this movie! I also love The Santa Claus ( 1985 ) and A Christmas Carol the one with
 Jim Carrey ( 2009 ).

3. If Santa had a new reindeer and you could name it, what would you call it?
I would choose something Christmassy like, Mistletoe, Tinsel or Holly. I'd like to choose a name that is Christmassy.

4. What is your favourite Christmas colour?
I love the red and greens. Gold is nice but I think the reds and greens look so Christmassy.

5. Name a place you want to visit during the Christmas period?
I would love to go to New York. Oh how that would be amazing, the shopping, the New York Christmas feel, That would be so nice.

6. White lights or coloured?
I love coloured lights, I think it just looks much more Christmassy. I have coloured lights around my little Christmas tree in my room and it makes me so happy looking at all the Christmas colours twinkling.

7. Do you start your Christmas shopping early or late?
I am always early never late! I cannot deal with the stress of having to Christmas shop late so I am always early or in the first week in December.

8. What Christmas treats do you love?
I love the tin of roses and celebrations. I love chocolate Santa's and the biscuits that come out around this time.  I also like the chocolate money coins that you put in your Christmas tree.

9. Favourite scent around Christmas?
I have to say spiced apple, or spicy cinnamon. That always reminds me of Christmas and Winter. I also love the smell of Tinsel because it smells so christmassy.

10.Tell me your Christmas eve traditions?
Christmas eve is lovely in my house and we always look forward to our tradition and get excited about it. We always every Christmas eve chill around the house in the morning and afternoon. Then around 3-30ish me and my mum do our make-up and hair and get ready. Then me and my mum and dad go out to a restaurant and have a yummy Chinese meal. Then we go home, open our Christmas eve present which is new pyjamas, fluffy socks and chocolates. Then we get changed into our new pyjamas and snuggle up on the couch and watch Christmas movies which is A Christmas Carol and The Grinch and eat our chocolates and maybe drink some wine. Then I will go upstairs get a bath and do any last minute wrapping and then I will snuggle in bed and watch The Santa Claus.

11. Favourite drink you like during Christmas?
I love snowballs I think they just are the one drink that you have only during this time of the year.

12. Are you wearing any festive nail art or polish?
I actually am! I am wearing red and green glitter polish on my nails. I have red, green, red, green. The Christmas week I will have just red glitter with the ring finger a gold glitter.

13. Your not feeling very festive name three things to do, to put you in the Christmas mood?
I would listen to Christmas music, that will put me at some Christmas feeling, I would look on pinterest at Christmas things that always gets me so excited and Christmas happy and finally I will watch a Christmas movie!

14. The Christmas music is playing, what is some of your favourites?
That is so hard because I love so many...

·        Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday

·        Chris Rea : Driving Home For Christmas

Also anything Michael Buble

15. Any traditions you do on your own?

I do have a tradition for myself and that is around the 15th-19th I will go shopping and do the last minute shopping, then I will come home get a candle lit bubble bath, get in really comfy pyjamas, go downstairs put some Christmas music or film on, have some chocolate and wine and wrap the Christmas presents. I have done this little tradition of mine around Christmas for a few years now and I love it, I look forward to it! It's something pampering and nice for myself and makes me feel Christmassy.

16. Christmas day has arrived, what is it like in your home?
Christmas day is relaxed and lazy and always happy and filled with love and appreciation. The morning is filled with excitement and fun and after present opening its very relaxed and chilled spent in our pyjamas, cooking Christmas dinner and watching T.V and talking and just being together. Christmas day is bittersweet I think, The morning and the Christmas dinner is the best part and spending time with my family but then after that is a little sad because Christmas is over.

17. What colour is your Christmas tree, and what tops it?
Our Christmas tree downstairs is green and a Santa Claus tops it. My Christmas tree in my room is green and a glitter star tops it.

18. Any Christmas Wishes?
My Christmas wish is to have a nice ending to 2015 and a better 2016. This year was one of the most stressful and hard years, I am glad to see the back of this year it's not been a good year. So I wish and hope 2016 is much more happier and less stressful and hard than this year.

19. Your having your Christmas dinner, what is your favourite thing on your plate?
Oh I love our Christmas dinner. I would say the Turkey and the pigs in blankets and the parsnips are my favourite thing on my plate. I enjoy everything on my plate, Christmas dinner is not like a normal Sunday roast so it's special.

20. This tag is at the end now, have you enjoyed yourself? Right now as your answering these questions how long is it till Christmas?
I have enjoyed myself a lot, singing to the Christmas songs as I have been answering these. It's currently the 14th December so we have 11 days till Christmas wooooohhooo!

Teeth Talk And Taking Care Of The Lips! ♡

Hello, This is kind of a strange topic to talk about but it's not a post I see around much and I think it's something to share. I am going to be talking about taking care of your teeth and lips, or how I take care of mine! Since New Year's Eve is coming soon you need to be ready for a new year kiss right? and what's more yucky than un hygienic teeth and mouth?

So I firstly floss my teeth. Yes it can feel like a chore and something we think we can give a miss but flossing is so important because it not only removes plaque and dislodged food but can help with bad breath and oral problems. I can't be dealing with the regular floss on a string so I like using the floss picks. They are so easy and quick, and already done for you.  I slip the floss pick between my teeth and start moving the floss with 5-8 strokes up and down between each tooth. I prefer to floss before I brush because I find I am getting rid of plaque and dislodged food before I brush and that way I can get rid of what I need to so it does not end up on my tooth brush.
 Oral-B-Glide

Next I brush my teeth, I use a Colgate tooth brush. I was using a electric tooth brush for a while but I felt it was not cleaning my teeth as I needed it to so I switched to a regular tooth brush. The Colgate tooth brush is so much better and cleans my teeth really well. It's hard enough to give my teeth a clean but soft enough to not hurt my gums. When brushing my teeth I position the bristles at an angle near the gum line, I brush the outer surfaces back and forth and up and down then the insides and the front with the same up down, back and forth motions. I spent about 2 minutes brushing my teeth and I do try to brush my teeth in the morning and I always do it every night.  I also use a Colgate tooth paste.

Once I have rinsed my mouth I then use a tongue brush. I use the OraBrush Tongue Brush. This is the step that is not as obvious as flossing and brushing and I think it's the one step that really helps with the bacteria and bad breath. 90% of bad breath is caused by the tongue! I use to brush my tongue with my tooth brush but when I used the OraBrush Tongue brush I noticed such a difference in my mouth and tongue. The Ora Tongue brush is designed for your tongue, It has the same handle like a tooth brush, it is square with bristles and at the end is a stopper ( which collects the rubbish from your tongue ) What I do is wet my tongue, stick my tongue out and brush back and forth with the tongue brush. Then after about 4-5 times you then take it all the way back as far as you can go without gagging and pull it forward, you will see all the gunk from your tongue which is gross but is so affective and helps with your breath. I also like to use the tongue foam it comes with, which is a mint foam that you apply onto your tongue or the brush instead of wetting your tongue with water. It just helps moist your tongue while cleaning it and gives you a mint, fresh breath.

Then finally I use mouthwash. I use the Listerine Cool mint mouthwash. This kills up to 97% of germs above and below the gum line to keep gums healthy. It reduces up to 56% plaque and provides fresh breath protection. I love how my gums feel after using mouthwash and the minty freshness my breath has.

Now to whiten my teeth I use MR BLANC teeth whitening strips. I am in love with these because after 1 try I already noticed a big difference. MR BLANC teeth whitening strips are a non peroxide whitening product that safely whitens teeth with enamel friendly ingredients. Working both on and beneath the surface Mr BLANC visibly whitens and removes stains in just 14 days!! These are so easy to apply and they don't slip and slide, and the effect they have are amazing. I noticed stains and discolouration are disappeared after using these strips. What I do is dry my teeth with a towel, then I place the bottom strip on the bottom of my teeth and the top on my top teeth. I then wait 30 minutes avoid eating and drinking. I do this when I am getting ready for the day or at night after my tooth routine. After the 30 minutes are up I remove the strips and put them in the bin, I then rinse away any gel that is left on my teeth with water and admire my white teeth and no stains!! This is perfect if you are wearing a red lip or a lip colour that brings your teeth whiter, or before an important date, interview and it's something to add in your general tooth routine.

Now the teeth routine is done and I have nice clean white teeth I like to take care of my lips. First I take my tooth brush, wet it and go back and forth on my lips. This is exfoliating the lips getting rid of the flakes and dry skin. You can also use a lip scrub after or instead of a tooth brush.  Then I put a thick lip moisturiser on my lips, I take a thick amount and apply it but not pressing it in, I use carmex.  I let it soak for about 2-3 minutes and then I get a tissue or flannel and wet it, then take the moisturiser off my lips. This is like doing a deep condition on your hair but for your lips, Its deeply moisturising and softening the lips. I then apply lip balm my favourite is the Balmi lip balms and that's it!!
