A blog ramble: Ins and Outs!❤

I'm feeling rather snuggly tonight, I am all cosy in my big bed with candles flickering, fairy lights glowing, my humidifier changing colours and pouring out a yummy scent and I have some chocolate to munch on. I was feeling like writing a blog post tonight, something laid back so I thought to do an ins and outs post. Elle Fowler done these posts on her blog and I enjoyed reading them so that is what I am going to do. Something about writing a blog post sometimes can be so therapeutic to me. Enjoy!xo  PS: if you don't know what an ins and outs post is here is Elle's blog post ( HERE )

Ins: ( likes/loves/what's good right now )

My New Laptop: I have a new laptop all to myself! I bought my self a Christmas present and splurged on a laptop, with my Dad's tech knowledge, researches and a boxing day sale I bought a really nice laptop that was £500 but came down in price because of the sales! I am so happy with my purchase and I can now have my own laptop to myself, my own me time without having to share a computer! More blog posts, More youtube to watch and more netflix cosy days.

Pinterest: I am addicted to pinterest, hours could be spent just looking through it. I feel so relaxed just browsing on there. It takes my stressed head away for a little bit, I have a pinterest you can follow ( HERE)

No7 Makeup Mirror: I got this for Christmas because I needed a makeup mirror for my vanity that lights up and gives me a bright light for my makeup. This No7 mirror is so good and bright, you can change the brightness by making it dim, dim, dimmer or just have it on full bright. The mirror is so clear and you can see everything, I love it!

New Skincare Products: Oh I am thrilled with the skincare products I got for Christmas, they have been on my want list for ages and I finally have them, blog post reviews will be coming soon!

Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction Body Splash: This is my lover! I can't live without this fragrance, my all time favorite scent from VS. So sexy, warm but womanly! I have been reaching for it more often lately. So gorgeous.

Taken 1,2,3 DVD: I saw these films on the TV and I got hooked fast. They quickly moved in my top three favorite films. Liam Neeson has an amazing voice, incredible acting and his movies are spot on. My Dad bought me the box set of the Taken movies for Christmas. They are packed full of action and excitement aswell as gasps!

Shotty Horroh: My favorite Rap Battler! I watch Rap Battles on Youtube ( no judging ) and I am a little addicted to them. Shotty Horroh is my favourtie, he raps incredibly he has a flair and talent for rapping. He also liked my tweet I sent to him which was nice!

I heart Christmas by Lindsey Kelk: This book was so fun to read over the Christmas period and I am so sad I have read it all. I started reading it on the last day of November and wanted to try and finish it by Christmas day and I finished it on Christmas Eve. It was so festive reading a Christmas themed book. I heart series by Lindsey Kelk is my favorite books, They are so fun and easy and take you out of your stresses for a little bit.

My Mum: I am getting cheeseball here but I have such an amazing mother. She does so much for me and has such a warm, gentle, kind heart. I don't know what I would do without her she has shaped me into who I am. She is my best friend who I share things with and be silly and giggle with, My sister when we argue over silly things and share eachothers wardrobes and my mum sharing mother daughter moments, and that special bond! I love how close we are and how she has taught me how to be the woman I am today.  She has such a heart that gives me love and care every single day, I am so blessed to have a mother with true love and care in her heart for me and looks after me, supports me and cares for me! I am a proud daughter to have such a talented mum when she does her nail art and with a nail art blog of her own with amazing amount of followers and support that makes me even more prouder! I love you mum, for ever and always! x

Chicken Pasta: Speaking of my mum she makes yummy chicken pasta which has become a little addiction for me... I crave it all the time, and want to eat it all the time!

Temple Run and Subway Surfers: Such addictive games! I've been playing these on my tablet all the time, they are so fun to play.

See you 2015: Thank goodness its nearly time to say Bye to this year.  This year has been so stressful and hard I am so glad to see the back of it. So goodbye 2015 and 2016 be nicer please!

Outs( dislikes, hates, whats not so good right now)

2015: This year has been so difficult, stress, hard and emotionally and physically draining. Just one thing after another, one stress after another, one hard thing to tackle after another!

Bye Bye Christmas: Oh it's so sad, Christmas is over till next time! I love Christmas so much, and I feel its come and gone to fast. Moving on because I'm to sad about this...

LUSH: This is hard to even type, because me and Lush have been besties for years! The time has come when I'm not a fan of Lush anymore. I went to buy my Christmas stash from Lush like I do every December, Normally I come out with a big bag full of Lush goodies, this year I came out with 0 bag! I was so unhappy with the Christmas products they came out with this year, everything was covered in thick glitter or the scents was not that nice or the price was shocking! Is it just me or has LUSH prices shot up? I then got told by the woman who works there that my all time favourtie bubble bar Christmas eve Bubble bar is no longer coming back!!!!! I was so disappointed with the prices, Christmas line and that they have took away the good ones I loved. Lush me and you are going to fall out soon!!

Hurting my back: A week or so before Christmas I hurt my back don't I. I was putting on a belt for my jeans and I twisted funny and hurt my back, the pain was horrible it was so painful trying to walk around the shops doing last minute Christmas shopping. Thankfully my back is a lot better and I can finally move and walk without wanting to cry. I do get the odd pain with some movements or bending down, Hurting my back by putting on a belt typical me!

No snow or Christmassy weather- Liverpool's weather has been rubbish for Christmas, No snow or wintry days. It's been rather mild and not freezing! Bit sad because it would of made Christmas alot more fun!

So that is all my ins and outs for now, I feel so relaxed and calm and its nice to have a ramble without worrying about fancy pictures and professional wording. So nice to just be laid back for once! Hope you enjoyed reading and please let me know some of your ins and outs?

Stocking Filler Ideas!! ❤

STOCKING FILLER IDEAS!

Christmas is nearly here, and we all have that moment of panic when we look at the Christmas countdown and realise the days are zooming by and that voice pops in your head " you still need to buy them stocking fillers, what are you going to buy " . Don't worry if you are needing some inspiration/ideas you have come to the right place. I have pulled together some ideas for stocking fillers/little gifts. Happy Shopping xo

Diaries- For the organisers or people who need to be organised!
Everyone needs a diary, whether you are the Mother with all the family appointments, The friend with the big job and need to organise the diary but use a sticky note instead, or the sister in school with the school work and exam dates. A diary is something everyone will appreciate. I would also suggest adding a pack of pens, if your buying for the friend who has the big job a classy pen set, the sister who is in school maybe gel pens or something fun.

Personalised Mug- For the hot drinkers!
who does not love a personalised gift? Everyone loves a new mug, The ones in the office are stained, the ones in the house are cracked and the only ones that are usable are the kids Disney cups. If you buy a brand new mug for someone with a personalised message or their name that will be a really sweet gift. Imagine your friend, she or he has had a rough night, they wake up for their morning coffee and see your mug that you personalised for them, it makes them smile and feel a little better. Maybe even pop their favourite brand or coffee or tea or a yummy set of biscuits in the stocking as a little something extra it also shows you really thought about the gift and you know that person well!

Purses/Wallets- For the shoppers!
If your female or male everyone uses a purse or wallet. I feel it's the one thing we all tend to forget about re purchasing when the purse or wallet is in bad shape and we desperately need a new one but forget about it because that new Eye shadow palette is on the top of the list, or that new video game or the kids clothes. Having a new purse or wallet is something everyone will appreciate because it's something that is used all the time. Make sure you know who your buying for, does she like pink or red? What colour is her bag will it clash or match? Does she like leopard print or plain? Is she a fan of bling or something classy? Is he into designer names or not fussed? It might just be any purse but to them, having a purse that you picked out because of what they like is more meaningful then just picking up any purse or wallet. Maybe as something extra buy a bag charm for her and a voucher for him?

Candles- For the relaxers.
Candles are the best in winter, all cosy with the flickering candle and the gorgeous scents that some of them produce what a great little gift for someone. Not just anyone, someone who loves relaxing, someone who loves to enjoy a bubble bath with candles, someone who loves to scatter candles around their home and create homey scents in each room. Make sure the person you're buying for appreciates a good candle. Make sure you know what scents they like, and what scents are around their homes. Throw in some scented tea lights and a lighter!

Slippers and socks- For the lazy Sunday people!
Christmas is not Christmas without a new pair of slippers and fluffy socks or regular socks! These are fabulous stocking ideas or gifts for people who love to lounge around in slippers or slip their feet into fluffy socks. Maybe add a foot treatment set to pamper their feet with before slipping into their new socks and slippers.

Phone cases- For the always on their phone people!
Everyone has a phone these days, kids, teens, adults, even elder people like our Nan's and Granddads! A phone case is a fab little gift especially if that person is getting a new phone for Christmas or is always attached to their phones and needs a protective but classy case for it. Ebay and Amazon are great for finding lovely cases. As always make sure you know that person you're buying for, what phone do they have? are they a blingy type or subtle and cute? Are they gold lovers or fan of the whites and clears? To add to your gift you could buy a phone holder for their bedside table, desk or vanity. Or if that is something you don't want to buy maybe a pair of earphones? Maybe a speaker for their phone?

Manicure or Eyebrow set-For the Pretty and primped.
This is great for a girl or boy who is into keeping their nails in shape and well treated. A good manicure set is fabulous, you get all that you need to keep the nails looking beautiful. A eyebrow set is also a great idea for the males or girls who have their eyebrows always looking on point. Guys can appreciate a good eyebrow set to trim away them long eyebrow hairs and every girl needs the tools for getting the eyebrows on point!

Colouring book and felts- For the kids, or the big kids ;)
Adult colouring books are on the market now so why not get someone a colouring book for the big kid inside them? Is your mum or sister or friend into arts and likes to paint, draw or colour? It's a great idea for relaxation and something to do. Kids love colouring books so you cannot go wrong with a kids Christmas colouring book. Add some fancy felt tips and pencils and that is a well thought of gift or stocking stuffer!

Cds and Dvds- For the music lovers and Film buffs!
Susan from work is always singing a Rihanna song, why not pick her up the Rihanna CD? Mick your brother is always talking about the mission impossible films why not grab him the dvds? And your mum, she can't stop quoting scenes from the Friends episodes she has seen on TV, why not get the box set for her? Grab your music lovers a CD of their favourite artists, or if you're not too sure on what to get pick up the Now that's what I call music cds, or Ministry of sound so they have a selection. For the film buffs pick some DVDS out that they like or might like, Or their favourite TV series box set!

A cook book, or cooking tools- For the ones who make the food taste yummy!
If your Dad or boyfriend or Mum or Nan loves to cook, works as a cook or wants to try to cook why not grab them a good cook book? It's always a gift appreciated if they are into cooking or want to get into cooking. Your mum likes the sweet treats and cakes so grab a desert cook book. Your dad likes the Italian or Indian foods, grab a Indian or Italian recipe cook book. Or if they have a million cook books stored in the kitchen why not grab them some cooking tools? every chef likes new cooking tools right?

Chocolates- For the Chockaholics!
Everyone loves chocolates and Christmas is filled with chocolates and everyone is enjoying treating their sweet tooth. A box of chocolates will always be loved around Christmas. Even a cute Chocolate Santa or chocolate coins!

Wine- For the wine'o clockers!
If that person in your family or friends is a lover for a glass of wine at the end of the day why not pick up their favourite wine and pop it in their stocking or a gift bag? It's Christmas and the wine is never not pouring into the glasses so why not also grab them a cute wine glass or a classy wine glass for them to enjoy their wine out of?, so treat your friend or family member with a bottle...or two!

That is all the ideas I can pull together for now, I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope you have a merry Christmas xo

Skincare want list! ❤

The Merry Christmas Tag.

Merry Christmas Tag!

Hello everyone, I am wearing a Santa hat, playing Christmas music and feeling rather festive right now. What better time to do a fun Christmas tag on my blog! This is the Merry Christmas tag, I just grabbed questions that I liked from different Christmas tags and put it all in one tag. I tag everyone reading and hope you enjoy.

1. On a scale of 1-10 how much are you in the Christmas spirit?
Well I am wearing a Santa hat, singing along to Christmas songs and doing a Christmas tag so I am feeling a 9 right now.

2. Obviously you have to watch Christmas movies, what is your favourite?
The Grinch has to be my all time favourite Christmas movie! Every Christmas Eve me and my family snuggle up on the couch and watch this movie. It's such a great movie and something special because it's part of our Christmas eve tradition.  I love everything about this movie! I also love The Santa Claus ( 1985 ) and A Christmas Carol the one with
 Jim Carrey ( 2009 ).

3. If Santa had a new reindeer and you could name it, what would you call it?
I would choose something Christmassy like, Mistletoe, Tinsel or Holly. I'd like to choose a name that is Christmassy.

4. What is your favourite Christmas colour?
I love the red and greens. Gold is nice but I think the reds and greens look so Christmassy.

5. Name a place you want to visit during the Christmas period?
I would love to go to New York. Oh how that would be amazing, the shopping, the New York Christmas feel, That would be so nice.

6. White lights or coloured?
I love coloured lights, I think it just looks much more Christmassy. I have coloured lights around my little Christmas tree in my room and it makes me so happy looking at all the Christmas colours twinkling.

7. Do you start your Christmas shopping early or late?
I am always early never late! I cannot deal with the stress of having to Christmas shop late so I am always early or in the first week in December.

8. What Christmas treats do you love?
I love the tin of roses and celebrations. I love chocolate Santa's and the biscuits that come out around this time.  I also like the chocolate money coins that you put in your Christmas tree.

9. Favourite scent around Christmas?
I have to say spiced apple, or spicy cinnamon. That always reminds me of Christmas and Winter. I also love the smell of Tinsel because it smells so christmassy.

10.Tell me your Christmas eve traditions?
Christmas eve is lovely in my house and we always look forward to our tradition and get excited about it. We always every Christmas eve chill around the house in the morning and afternoon. Then around 3-30ish me and my mum do our make-up and hair and get ready. Then me and my mum and dad go out to a restaurant and have a yummy Chinese meal. Then we go home, open our Christmas eve present which is new pyjamas, fluffy socks and chocolates. Then we get changed into our new pyjamas and snuggle up on the couch and watch Christmas movies which is A Christmas Carol and The Grinch and eat our chocolates and maybe drink some wine. Then I will go upstairs get a bath and do any last minute wrapping and then I will snuggle in bed and watch The Santa Claus.

11. Favourite drink you like during Christmas?
I love snowballs I think they just are the one drink that you have only during this time of the year.

12. Are you wearing any festive nail art or polish?
I actually am! I am wearing red and green glitter polish on my nails. I have red, green, red, green. The Christmas week I will have just red glitter with the ring finger a gold glitter.

13. Your not feeling very festive name three things to do, to put you in the Christmas mood?
I would listen to Christmas music, that will put me at some Christmas feeling, I would look on pinterest at Christmas things that always gets me so excited and Christmas happy and finally I will watch a Christmas movie!

14. The Christmas music is playing, what is some of your favourites?
That is so hard because I love so many...

·        Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday

·        Chris Rea : Driving Home For Christmas

Also anything Michael Buble

15. Any traditions you do on your own?

I do have a tradition for myself and that is around the 15th-19th I will go shopping and do the last minute shopping, then I will come home get a candle lit bubble bath, get in really comfy pyjamas, go downstairs put some Christmas music or film on, have some chocolate and wine and wrap the Christmas presents. I have done this little tradition of mine around Christmas for a few years now and I love it, I look forward to it! It's something pampering and nice for myself and makes me feel Christmassy.

16. Christmas day has arrived, what is it like in your home?
Christmas day is relaxed and lazy and always happy and filled with love and appreciation. The morning is filled with excitement and fun and after present opening its very relaxed and chilled spent in our pyjamas, cooking Christmas dinner and watching T.V and talking and just being together. Christmas day is bittersweet I think, The morning and the Christmas dinner is the best part and spending time with my family but then after that is a little sad because Christmas is over.

17. What colour is your Christmas tree, and what tops it?
Our Christmas tree downstairs is green and a Santa Claus tops it. My Christmas tree in my room is green and a glitter star tops it.

18. Any Christmas Wishes?
My Christmas wish is to have a nice ending to 2015 and a better 2016. This year was one of the most stressful and hard years, I am glad to see the back of this year it's not been a good year. So I wish and hope 2016 is much more happier and less stressful and hard than this year.

19. Your having your Christmas dinner, what is your favourite thing on your plate?
Oh I love our Christmas dinner. I would say the Turkey and the pigs in blankets and the parsnips are my favourite thing on my plate. I enjoy everything on my plate, Christmas dinner is not like a normal Sunday roast so it's special.

20. This tag is at the end now, have you enjoyed yourself? Right now as your answering these questions how long is it till Christmas?
I have enjoyed myself a lot, singing to the Christmas songs as I have been answering these. It's currently the 14th December so we have 11 days till Christmas wooooohhooo!

Teeth Talk And Taking Care Of The Lips! ♡

Hello, This is kind of a strange topic to talk about but it's not a post I see around much and I think it's something to share. I am going to be talking about taking care of your teeth and lips, or how I take care of mine! Since New Year's Eve is coming soon you need to be ready for a new year kiss right? and what's more yucky than un hygienic teeth and mouth?

So I firstly floss my teeth. Yes it can feel like a chore and something we think we can give a miss but flossing is so important because it not only removes plaque and dislodged food but can help with bad breath and oral problems. I can't be dealing with the regular floss on a string so I like using the floss picks. They are so easy and quick, and already done for you.  I slip the floss pick between my teeth and start moving the floss with 5-8 strokes up and down between each tooth. I prefer to floss before I brush because I find I am getting rid of plaque and dislodged food before I brush and that way I can get rid of what I need to so it does not end up on my tooth brush.
 Oral-B-Glide

Next I brush my teeth, I use a Colgate tooth brush. I was using a electric tooth brush for a while but I felt it was not cleaning my teeth as I needed it to so I switched to a regular tooth brush. The Colgate tooth brush is so much better and cleans my teeth really well. It's hard enough to give my teeth a clean but soft enough to not hurt my gums. When brushing my teeth I position the bristles at an angle near the gum line, I brush the outer surfaces back and forth and up and down then the insides and the front with the same up down, back and forth motions. I spent about 2 minutes brushing my teeth and I do try to brush my teeth in the morning and I always do it every night.  I also use a Colgate tooth paste.

Once I have rinsed my mouth I then use a tongue brush. I use the OraBrush Tongue Brush. This is the step that is not as obvious as flossing and brushing and I think it's the one step that really helps with the bacteria and bad breath. 90% of bad breath is caused by the tongue! I use to brush my tongue with my tooth brush but when I used the OraBrush Tongue brush I noticed such a difference in my mouth and tongue. The Ora Tongue brush is designed for your tongue, It has the same handle like a tooth brush, it is square with bristles and at the end is a stopper ( which collects the rubbish from your tongue ) What I do is wet my tongue, stick my tongue out and brush back and forth with the tongue brush. Then after about 4-5 times you then take it all the way back as far as you can go without gagging and pull it forward, you will see all the gunk from your tongue which is gross but is so affective and helps with your breath. I also like to use the tongue foam it comes with, which is a mint foam that you apply onto your tongue or the brush instead of wetting your tongue with water. It just helps moist your tongue while cleaning it and gives you a mint, fresh breath.

Then finally I use mouthwash. I use the Listerine Cool mint mouthwash. This kills up to 97% of germs above and below the gum line to keep gums healthy. It reduces up to 56% plaque and provides fresh breath protection. I love how my gums feel after using mouthwash and the minty freshness my breath has.

Now to whiten my teeth I use MR BLANC teeth whitening strips. I am in love with these because after 1 try I already noticed a big difference. MR BLANC teeth whitening strips are a non peroxide whitening product that safely whitens teeth with enamel friendly ingredients. Working both on and beneath the surface Mr BLANC visibly whitens and removes stains in just 14 days!! These are so easy to apply and they don't slip and slide, and the effect they have are amazing. I noticed stains and discolouration are disappeared after using these strips. What I do is dry my teeth with a towel, then I place the bottom strip on the bottom of my teeth and the top on my top teeth. I then wait 30 minutes avoid eating and drinking. I do this when I am getting ready for the day or at night after my tooth routine. After the 30 minutes are up I remove the strips and put them in the bin, I then rinse away any gel that is left on my teeth with water and admire my white teeth and no stains!! This is perfect if you are wearing a red lip or a lip colour that brings your teeth whiter, or before an important date, interview and it's something to add in your general tooth routine.

Now the teeth routine is done and I have nice clean white teeth I like to take care of my lips. First I take my tooth brush, wet it and go back and forth on my lips. This is exfoliating the lips getting rid of the flakes and dry skin. You can also use a lip scrub after or instead of a tooth brush.  Then I put a thick lip moisturiser on my lips, I take a thick amount and apply it but not pressing it in, I use carmex.  I let it soak for about 2-3 minutes and then I get a tissue or flannel and wet it, then take the moisturiser off my lips. This is like doing a deep condition on your hair but for your lips, Its deeply moisturising and softening the lips. I then apply lip balm my favourite is the Balmi lip balms and that's it!!

Gift idea for the ladies in your life! ♡

I have a gift idea for the ladies in your life. This is for a girl who loves to pamper herself or you want the girl to take the time to pamper herself. This idea is a spa bundle gifts or spa in a stocking. Little gifts for the pampering princesses.

Hot Cloth Cleanser.
A hot cloth cleanser is amazing for spa night. What is more relaxing than a soft cleanser and a hot cloth on your face.  Of course the Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser is the most popular one with amazing rates and it is heaven. If you don't want to splurge that high I do recommend The Organic Surge Hot Cloth Brightening Cleanser. In my opinion this is a dupe for the Liz Earle. It has a similar scent and feel to it, It's rich and creamy and a little bit goes a long way. It has a soft texture but clings to the skin removing any dirt or make-up. When you are ready to take the cleanser off, soak a cloth in a hot water and press onto the skin this is so soothing then wipe away the cleanser. You are left with super soft, clean and glowy skin.

Face Masks.
Of course pick the mask for the right skin type, Oily skin I'd choose the LUSH mask of Magnanimity. This is a minty amazing mask for getting rid of acne and treating the skin. This draws out all the junk and oil from the skin and treats it, while you take the mask off you ex foliate your skin because it has ex foliating beads so that is extra special for spa night. If the person your buying for has dry skin and skin that needs hydration I recommend the Clarins Hydraquench cream mask, Yes this is a high end brand but it is so good and gives the skin a drink, giving it hydration and moisture to the skin. If the person you are buying for has combination skin, write them a note and tell them to multimask, use the mask on the areas they need like the Mask of Magnanimity on the oily TZONE and the Hydraquench on the dry areas.

Shampoo & Conditioner or a Hair Mask.
This might sound funny to give shampoo and conditioner as a gift but for a spa bundle it is something a girl will appreciate. Why not treat the hair and give a good shampoo and conditioner as a gift. I recommend the Organic Surge Moisture Boost shampoo and Conditioner. This is super moisturising and makes my hair squeaky clean, this makes my hair feel nourished and soft, it gives my hair a lovely glossy shine. You could also tell the person your giving the gift to, to leave the conditioner on for 20-30 minutes for a deep conditioning treatment.
-Organic Surge Moisture Boost shampoo and Conditioner CLICK ME

Candles, Bath Set and Fluffy Socks.
A pamper night includes a hot bath, so I recommend a LUSH bath set or some bath sets like Dove, Soap and Glory, Sanctuary or even Victoria's Secret. If the person is super girly and loves relaxing I recommend throwing in a scented candle, one that smells christmassy or relaxing. I also recommend fluffy socks for when they get out the bath because you could add a note telling the person to put on the fluffy socks with some body butter to make the feet super soft.

Gel Eye Mask.
This is amazing for a spa night. The gel eye mask you can put in the fridge or heat it up, for a de-puffing, soothing, relaxing treatment for the eyes while soaking in the bath.
- Gel Eye Mask- CLICK ME

Lip Balm set or individual.
This might sound strange, why a lip balm? but every girl loves a good lip balm, especially after pampering the whole body head to toe. The next thing you want is to treat your lips with a soothing, moisturising lip balm. My favourite is the Balmi Lip Balm, they are almost like the EOS balms but I think more better. They are shaped like a cone/dome and have all kinds of yummy scents from strawberry to mint. The balm is super hydrating and lasts on the lips. The cone/dome shape have a unique and fun feeling when you place it on your lips. So I think this would make a great gift because of it's unique and fun balm.
-  Balmi Lip Balm CLICK ME

Nail Varnish Set.
This can be optional because not every girl likes painting the nails. If you do want to buy a nail varnish set I do recommend OPI, NAILS INC, CIATE, BEAUTY UK, RIMMEL AND BARRY M. If you don't want to splurge on a set maybe get a nail treatment like OPI nail envy or Essence ultra nail repair.

Chocolates!!!
To finish your pamper spa bundle or spa in a stocking, chocolates are the best treat. Maybe a box of chocolates, chocolate bars or even a chocolate Santa!

HOW TO: Get Longer Lasting Makeup?♡

Hey there! I have two products that will save, set and keep your make-up looking flawless all day/night. Want to know what they are? Keep reading!xo

I love anything I can spray onto my face to make me feel refreshed and hydrated. I have had some setting sprays that claim to " seal the make-up and keep it in place all day and night " few hours later my make-up is not sealed, saved and stayed! The lovely ladies over at Clarins sent me The Fix Make-up Mist to try and review. Does this mist seal, save and help the make-up stay?

After applying my make-up I sprayed in circler movements the Fix Make-up Mist. The first thing I loved was how easy and light the spray was, some setting sprays can have awful sprays that soak your face, come out in drips then in big chunks, or take a lot of finger pressure to come out but this just was so easy and soft on my face and came out really evenly. The scent also was something I enjoyed! Very subtle but a slight smell of sweet roses and that is because this mist has the ingredients of Rose and Grapefruit, Rose to soften and Grape Fruit to brighten, along with Silica Microspheres to control shine.

The mist is so refreshing, hydrating and comfortably soft. So the main goal was to see how well it held my make-up during work and rainy, muggy weather! So I went about my day without any touch ups. When I looked in the mirror I was pleasantly surprised how well my make-up looked, the mist really did hold, seal and save my make-up and offered a flawless, fresh, matte finish all throughout the day. No need for touch ups or powder because my make-up looked well put and the same as it did when I first applied it.

I noticed my skin did not feel dry and my oily T-Zone did not feel oily. I also noticed my skin looked healthy and felt soft when I touched my cheek. When I sprayed the mist it felt like it was sealing in my make-up because I had a slight, very slight, tightening feeling as if it was grabbing my make-up in place. I am now in love with this mist, its a saviour! Even in all types of environments and weather and for all skin types. If you use this mist your make-up will be saved, you use a primer first under your make-up and this mist after your make-up, you are for sure double saved!

No colour was faded, No oily make-up, No slip or Slide, No fading, Moving or settling! Everything was sealed, saved and stayed!

The next product is for your eyeshadow... I have spoke about this product on my blog before because I am amazed at how such a drugstore product can do a high-end job!
I am talking about the Beauty UK Eye Prime Fx. This is such a must have product for long, lasting, eye make-up.

Just like the Mist, this seals, saves and sets your eye-make-up. This has a easy, blend-able formula with a soft, dip wand applicator that provides a neutral undercoat for your eye shadow.

This keeps my eyeshadow looking, vibrant and stayed put all day and night. Nothing moves or colour fades, everything is saved and set. I also find the same feeling the mist gives me. When I apply this to my eyes I get a very subtle, slight tight feeling as if its ready to grip and grab my eyeshadow. I love how it keeps my eyeshadow looking perfect throughout the day/night in all environments and weathers.  For drugstore and the price of £3.99 this does the same job as a high end primer.

I really recommend these two saviours for your make-up to keep it lasting all day/night. To also keep your make-up looking flawless throughout the day a good primer and powder and then set it with the Clarins Mist and you will be saved!

Happy Shopping! Hope you try these amazing products out, they are worth it!

The Fall Favourites tag + The sweater weather tag.♡

Hello everybody, Welcome back to my blog! Autumn is here... finally and I am so ready to do an autumn tag on my blog. Jacyln Hill on Youtube created the Fall Favourites tag so I thought I will do that and to put a spin on it I am also going to be doing some questions from the Sweater Weather Tag. I tag everybody to do this and I look forward to reading your answers!

Fall Favourites Tag:
1. Favourite Candle?
I love candles all year round and I love having different scents for different seasons. My favourite is when Autumn arrives I love burning Spicy and warm scents like cinnamon and spiced apple. I also love warm vanilla scents.

2. Favourite Lip Colour?
I picked my top four that I love wearing around Autumn. The first two are from Clarins. Clarins have gorgeous creamy, moisturising and rich formulas and great long lasting wear. The first shade is called Pink Ginger which is a reddy brown shade with a tint of pinky red. The next one is called Spicy Cinnamon and that is similar to pink ginger but darker and deeper. Its a mid toned brown with a slight burnt orange with a hint of a deep red, It basically screams Autumn. The next one is from Jordanna in the colour Plum Obsession which is matte pinky plum which is moisturising even though its matte with great staying power. The last one is a lipgloss from Soap and Glory The sexy mother pucker in the shade Charm Offensive which is a dusky mauve pink.

3. Favourite Drink?
I love drinking the Cadburys Caramel hot chocolate, Its so chocolaty and hot chocolates are always a yes for Autumn and winter. I also love the Cadburys orange hot chocolate. Sometimes I like to add marshmallows and cream Mmmm.

4. Favourite Blush?
I have picked out three blushes that I think is Autumn appropriate. The first is from MAC called Dame this is a dusty pink with a hint of warm and its perfect if you just want that soft flush to your cheeks. The next one is from Sleek in the colour pomegranate, This is a deep warm plum, berry, reddish with a pink sheen and warm copper undertones. Its so beautiful for Autumn and winter with all the warm tones and slight sheen. Sleek blushes are very pigmented so a light hand is essential! The last one is also by Sleek in the shade Rose Gold this is a warm rose gold, medium pink with a highlighted golden shimmer. Its perfect to get a warm colour on the cheeks with a warm glow.

5. Favourite Clothing Item?
I love wearing my black leather jacket with fur on the collar in Autumn/Winter. I also love boots and jumpers but most of all I LOVE wearing scarves! I feel they dress up any outfit and make you look put together and Autumn/Winter ready. I love circle scarves, Tartan, fuzzy, blanket, fur I love them all. Also soft fluffy bath robes and fluffy socks.

6. Favourite Fall Movie?
I know I am not the only one who has a love for Hocus Pocus during this time of year. It feels so right when this time falls around and you are watching Hocus Pocus. I also love Mary-Kate and Ashley's Double Double Toil and Trouble. When I was a kid I loved that movie during Halloween!

7. Favorite Fall TV Show
I would say Once Upon A Time because Season 5 has just come out on Netflix. I love Once Upon A Time its so gripping and if you have never watched it give it a try. I also am going to try and watch Scandal on Netflix because I have heard everyone rave about it and I have not yet seen it.

8. Favourite Thanksgiving Food ( Or Christmas Dinner/Roast dinner food for non thanksgiving people )
Since I am from the UK we don't have a thanksgiving so I changed it to Christmas dinner food or roast dinner. I love Roast Potatoes, Little Sausages wrapped in bacon and honey roasted parsnips. Mmmmm!

9. Favorite Halloween Costume
When I was a kid I was always a Witch so that was my favourite. One Year I dressed up as a pirate that was cute I had a parrot teddy on my shoulder.

Sweater Weather Tag:
1. Coffee, Tea or Hot Chocolate?
I drink more coffee and tea but I love drinking hot chocolate during these months but I don't drink them everyday so I would say Coffee and tea for everyday and hot chocolate for a Autumn/winter treat.

2. What is the best autumn memory you have?
I would say going the park on a crisp autumn day with my dog Lucy who passed away Feb 15th 2011. I remember just walking to the park with her and my mum and dad and watching Lucy run around and run into a pile of leaves and I miss that so much, seeing her bouncing around all happy. I would also say last year around this time I was counting down the days to see Enrique Iglesias ( my love ) in Concert in Manchester November 29th. So when I think back to this time last year I was so happy just thinking about seeing him and I would be so excited.

3. Favourite book you are reading this Autumn?
I am currently reading The Sweet Life by Dulce Candy. I think its very inspirational and I am enjoying reading that.

4. Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?
Dark lips!!! I don't love winged liner on my self all the time but dark lips I love and I love playing around with dark lips. I also feel like winged liner is a all year round trend but dark lips feel Autumn/Winter. I love a plum, purple and deep dark reds.

5. Best fragrance for autumn?
I love Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction and Beyonce heat. They smell so warm, sexy, spicy and perfect for autumn.

6. What is autumn weather like where you live?
In the UK we have the changing of the leaves, cooler, crisp autumn weather.

7. Most worn eyeshadow during autumn?
I love wearing smoky bronze, warm, chocolate, cranberry, brown shades.

8. Must-have nail polish this fall?
I love deep dark reds, blues and purples.

9. Favourite thing about autumn?
I love how the change of the leaves happen, the weather is beautiful and its nearly time for Halloween, firework night and Christmas. I also love the things you bring out in autumn like hocus pocus, the fashion, the candle scents, thicker fluffy soft bath robes and fluffy socks and just being cosy.

10. What song really gets you into the autumn spirit and what songs do you love this autumn?
I would say I like to listen to the hocus pocus I put a spell on you. That gets me into the Halloween/Autumn mood. I also love Autumn leaves by Chris Brown and I have been loving Freak by Rishi Rich and Jay Sean. Oh and SoMo's new album.

Kim's Sassy little Beauty Blog!

Hello There, Welcome to my new named blog Kim's Sassy little beauty blog!
Firstly I am sorry for the lack of blog posts, I just have not been getting into the blog mood and I have had a lot to deal with these past months. I am going to be back to blogging now I promise!

When I came back to my blog after been gone, I was so shocked to see all my pictures including my background, profile picture, blog post pictures and my header was gone and replaced with a dash in a grey circle. You can still see what I mean on previous blog posts even going all the way back to 2013!!! Yes I was fumming, frustrated and very confused. I searched online for answers and solutions but came across none that really helped me out and delivered my pictures back, I don't even have any back ups of my blog post pictures!

I thought about scrapping my entire blog and restarting but then my followers would be gone, my posts and work I have done with brands would be gone and all that hard work from 2013 till now would be wasted. So I then thought I will re vamp my blog, make a new name and make a post explaining what has happened. I am going to continue making posts and I will keep all my other posts even though they have no pictures. All my posts from now will have pictures and hopefully this won't happen again!!

So now that has been sorted I wanted to tell you why I re named my blog. My mum Dawn, has a nail art/beauty blog of her own. CLICK ME TO POP OVER TO SASSY LITTLE NAILS BLOG. I am so so proud of my mum. She is not only a magnificent mother but a talented nail art blogger! Her blog is named Sassy Little Nails. Sassy was our cat who died from cancer. She was the baby and the queen of Sheba! So I thought when I was re naming my blog I could include Sassy and my mum's blog in my name. Since we are mother and daughter I thought it would be nice to have kind of matching blog names.

So I welcome you to my blog and hope you enjoy reading! I will be back with a blog post soon talking all about beauty :-)

What I have been loving in July! ♡

Hello Everyone.

Like most bloggers I LOVE doing my monthly favourites, picking out the products I have been obsessing over this month and writing all about them. I would love to know what you have been enjoying in July. I also tell you what music I have been loving at the end.  Let's get started...

Clarins Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel.
This is so refreshing of a morning and soothing of a night. This cleanser removes any traces of make-up, dirt, bacteria and pollution and it promises to leave your skin clean and detoxified as well as blemish free and moisturised. I can say it ticks all the boxes! I love using this of a morning with a splash of cold water, it makes me feel awake, refreshed and my skin feels gunk free and soft. Of a night it tackles the make-up really well, getting rid of dirt and leaves my skin hydrated and blemish free! It's a gel formula but lathers into a soft foam with a refreshing scent!

Clarnis Daily Energizer Wake Up Booster.
After the cleansing gel I love using the toner. It adds an extra refreshing and soothing feel to my skin. This is a radiance boosting toning gel that moisturisers, softens, smoothes, tones and refreshes the skin. It's a gel formula which I love because it feels cooling and soft on my skin and leaves my skin looking alive, refreshed and healthy.

Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil.
I have been obsessed with this beauty oil! This is for combination/oily skin and it purifies the skin, tightens pores, refines texture, soothes, softens, seals moisture. This is pact with essential oils, rosewood, geranium, lotus and hazelnut oil. This oil absorbs quick and it makes my skin feel so hydrated and my dry areas clear up when I use this, plus the oily T-Zone I sometimes get is much more controlled. Its a great beauty oil that really does do what it promises.

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder. ( Iridescent Gold )
This is gorgeous! It's such a beautiful, golden, shimmery, iridescent highlight. So pigmented, So pretty, lasts all day long and when the light hits the highlight you can see an iridescent glow. Its only £3! Grab it girls, it's a god send!

Clarins Aquatic Treasures Summer Bronzing Compact.
This is a huge bronzer with a huge mirror inside. I LOVE the packaging and the product. This creates a natural, summer, bronze with a hint of a glow to the skin. 2 matte shades in copper and sun kissed beige with a golden glow to give a tanned, even, natural looking bronze complexion.  Very pigmented, Very easy to blend, Very bronzed, glowy summery finish and lasts all day!

Essence Metal Glam Eye shadow's ( Lucky Grasshopper & Choco-Chic )
These are gorgeous!!! I have been wearing these eye shadows so much lately. This is metal meets glam, with a metallic and shimmering effect and a soft texture. Highly pigmented and lasts all day long on the eyes without moving. I have mine in a mint green and a chocolate brown. I love to use these wet or dry, wet intensifies the metallic and shimmer and dry softens but still has a eye catching result. The mint green has silver sparkles, and the chocolate eyeshadow has copper gold shimmer both are so pretty on the eyes! Pop them on your eyes for a party or night out!

Maybelline The Nudes Palette.

This has been my new obsession! I love this palette so much and I have been trying out different looks with the different shades. You get 12 shades, both matte and shimmer, amazing pigmentation one swipe is all you need. They last a long time on the eyes without creasing or moving and you have 12 stunning shades to choose from. This really can be a day or night palette.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation.
This foundation is beautiful! I have been trying it out for a few weeks now and I am really impressed. This creates a flawless, radiant, healthy glow to my skin which I love in a foundation. Nothing cakey or to thick just the right formula and consistency. This foundation is enriched with fruit therapy to enhance your complexion... Apricot for radiance, Melon for hydration and Apple for protection of your youth. This foundation has crystalline pigments to even out the complexion while letting in the natural light for that healthy looking glow. This foundation is my new lover. I love the finish it gives my skin and I love how I can apply this early in the morning, that night my foundation looks still flawless!

Zo Skin Healthy Essential Daily Power Defence.
I love this moisturiser for the daytime. It's super light and soft and makes my skin feel hydrated but also it has helped clear some breakouts. This moisturiser helps repair damaged cells and protects against future damage. It encourages cellular activity to aid in skin cell rejuvenation. I am loving how my skin feels when I wear this moisturiser. My skin feels so hydrated and nourished plus it looks healthy and youthful.

Zo Skin Oclipse Sunscreen + Primer SPF30.
This primer reminds me a lot of the Benefit porefessional the effect that has of blurring out the skin and making it a flawless base. This primer has a slight tint and a silky matte finish with a great base for make-up. This reduces the appearance of pores, imperfections and also protects the skin from the sun. Using Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide this provides full spectrum UV protection. This has the best protection that works to neutralize free radicals generated by the sunlight. I mostly love how this makes my skin look so flawless with a healthy glow.

Technic High Lights.

Oh how I love this! This is a dupe for the Benefit High Beam Highlight for sure. I love this highlight because of its natural looking glow it has to the skin. This is not glittery and I wouldn't say it's all shimmer. I would say this highlight is a natural, healthy, pink, glow with a hint of a shimmer. Perfect highlight to add to the highlighted areas or mix in with a foundation/primer/moisturiser for a subtle glowy base. A little bit goes a long way and for £1.99 Its a fabulous product.

That's all for beauty products but I have a list of songs I have been loving...

·        The Weeknd- The Hills
·        Kip Moore - Come & get it
·        Sam Hunt- Single for the summer
·        Joe Weller - With My Load
