Lush Christmas Eve bubble bar + Cinders bath bomb review ♥

I used up two Lush products recently the Christmas Eve bubble bar and the Cinders bath bomb! Here are my thoughts on them...

Christmas Eve bubble bar.

I crumbled this bubble bar under running water which was easy and dissolved quickly and the first thing that hit me was the smell of this bubble bar it is a night time scent, slightly floral with some lavender/jasmine. It changed my water colour, baby blue then a greeny blue which was perfect because I love my water changing colour. Then the bubbles were forming and WOW they were great! They were big bubbles and felt soft and playful. Also they lasted a long time, I spend a long time in the bath and the bubbles never faded, they stayed the same. My water had a pretty irredescent glitter which made me feel girly, the glitter does not stick to the bath tub or my skin so that is a plus! When I was in my bath I felt very relaxed, with the calming scents and the soft bubbles and when I got out of the bath, I was ready to sleep! I loved this and recommend it 100%!!!!

Cinders Bath Bomb.
I was super excited to use this, for the sounds lush promises it will have! This bath bomb has pop rocks init so some crackles and pops are claiming to happen. My bath was filled and I plonked this bath bomb in the water and watched it fizz out. I could straight away smell the scent of this bath bomb, Cinnamon and spicy! I was listening to the water hoping for some sounds and I did!!!! Snap, Crackle and pop was happening in my bath it was fantastic. My water changed to an orange colour which was OK, I did not notice any moisturizing, milky water but that is not a problem since it does not claim to do so but I thought it would of been extra special if it did! My bath smelt so warm and spicy and I felt as if I was in a living room listening to a crackling fireplace it was lovely. I recommend and love this bath bomb oh so much.

Lush review -the Luxury Lil Lush Pud bath bomb ♥

Tonight I was feeling like pampering myself, indulging into my beauty products
( exfoliate, moisturizers you know the drill) and taking a hot relaxing candle lit bath, and you know what that means? Going to my LUSH stash and picking out a bath treat to use and guess what I was stuck on what to pick! I was feeling Christmassy and relaxing so I picked up the Luxury Lil Lush Pud bath bomb. I picked that one because of the Christmas holly design and the smell of lavender oils.

I ran my bath and dropped that baby in! I watched it fizz which happened very quick * disappointed*. I got an aroma of the bath bomb, lovely spa oils and lavender smell but that faded way to quick and did not linger on my skin, and the bath bombs normally do. I had no rainbow of colours which I was expecting because of the colour spots on the bath bomb. It left my bath water a deep purple colour which was nice I enjoyed that. For me this bath bomb was boring... I would not repurchase it because I like something to happen with my bath bombs, Even a moisturizing water or some sounds but nothing happened just my water was purple.

If I received this as a gift I would use it again for the purple water but I would not go out and buy this and I don't recommend it. Its quite boring and a let down! I have heard other people LOVE this bath bomb, but it just was not for me.  Sorry Lush :P

What I bought in LUSH! ♥

I went shopping to Lush, bought a lot and came home with a big bag and all I can say to that is... I love taking baths with pampering and fun products to use, Me and Lush have been besties for years, Their Christmas products are out which are my favorite and always purchase at Christmas season, I used up all my Lush and needed to buy more to start up a new stash so that is what I did! Who needs to justify it anyway? Its lush duh!

One of my favorite posts to read and to write about are Lush, So I had to write a post on what I bought from lush.

* disclaimer the pictures are off the LUSH website because mine are in the packages so I can't take pictures sorry! *

Bubble Bars:
I will start off with the bubble bars I bought. For those that don't know, a bubble bar is a solid bubble bar, you break off a piece and crumble it under running water and it makes the best, frothiest, biggest bubbles that lasts until you want to get out of the bath. I love the bubble bars more than anything else from Lush...

The Comforter.
This is an old favorite of mine, Every time I shop at lush I always buy one. I have gone through a bunch of these I just adore them! Lush's bubble bars are mostly small-ish and lasts about 3 baths which is still good but the Comforter is a huge chunk of product that you can break off into 5 maybe 6 pieces so it lasts longer than the others. The Comforter is the perfect name for this bubble bar because it smells very comforting and sweet, its the type of bath product you want when you want to come home after a ruff day and comfort yourself in your bath tub. It also looks girly and pretty, its pink and has a white swirl in the middle. I loves it and can't wait to be in a comforting bath.

Christmas Eve bubble bar.
Another oldie of mine. This is the perfect bubble bath bar for Christmas eve, I used it last Christmas eve and I will be using this Christmas eve. I think because of the name it makes me feel like I want to use it on Christmas eve, and then the smell also makes me want to use it on that night because it has Jasmine and Ylang Ylang so that right there is your calming properties so it will sooth me and relax my mind a little bit ( because I am super excited for the next day ). The way it looks is quite cute, with the blue sky and yellow moon and speckles of glitter.

Bath bombs:
Now all the bath bombs I bought from Lush. The way they work is, its a solid ball that you pop in the whole product in your bath and watch it fizz, at the end of the fizz your bath will have a surprise init. It depends on what bath bomb you buy, you might get rose petals or glitter, or a milky moisturizing water, or different colours. So its a nice surprise and very fun to enjoy...

Cinders Bath bomb.
I got this last Christmas and LOVED it so much, I bought it this year. This smells Christmas! Its Cinnamon, spicy and very warming. When you pop it in the bath it crackles and pops as it has popping candy in it so it sounds like a crackling fire place which is wintery and Christmassy.

Dragons Egg bath bomb.
This is not a Christmas product, they have this all the time. I tried it, loved it, bought it again! It smells very Sherbet and Citrus to me, it has Jasmine and Lemon oils init. I would use this for energizing not so much relaxing. This is a fun bath product to use, it gives your bath a firework of colours and sounds like cracks and pops and then leaves it with a shimmery gold water. Excited to see all the colours and sounds when I use this!

Luxury Lil Lush Pud bath bomb.
This is one I have never tried before ( finally right? ) This caught my eye because of the Christmas Holly Design and then all the spots of colours. I sniffed it and it smells very relaxing and sort of like a Christmas cake. It has Lavender oils and Ylang Ylang so this is perfect for a soothing bath before bed. I'm excited to see if my bath is colourful because of the spots of colours it has, or what surprise this bath bomb has :D I will let you know when I have tried it...

Ickle Baby Bot bath bomb.
I love this, its so cute! Cute name and cute design. It smells of Lavender and Chamomile which yet again is very soothing and relaxing. If you can't tell i love me some relaxing scents and baths! It has a baby blue colour and designed as a robot ( adorable ) When I used this it was pretty calming and soothing, and left my bath baby blue colour!

Shower Gel:
I bought one shower gel from Lush, because I have so many bath and shower gels already that I don't really need any more but I couldn't resit...

Snow Fairy Shower Gel.
Snow Fairy is popular every Christmas and every Christmas I hope it still comes out! It smells of sweets, treats and Yummy things. I can't stop smelling it, its very fruity and yum it just smells like sweet bubble gum. ( that rhymed ha ) It is pink and has blue iridescent glitter at the bottom which makes it look so girly and pretty! if you into fruity and sweet smells you will LOVE this!
That is everything that I bought from Lush. If you have never bought from Lush please go and try something because it's truly lovely and they have the nicest, sweetest staff in there!

Holly Jolly Christmas Tag! ♥

Hello! So I'm feeling rather Christmassy and I LOVE talking about Christmas so I thought I would do a post on some Christmas tags coming up to Christmas. The first one I'm doing is the Holly Jolly Christmas Tag! I tag everybody to do it, if you want! If you do it please let me know in the comments and send me your link so I can have a read of your answers.

Holly Jolly Christmas Tag! ♥

1. What is your favourite Christmas movie?
I love watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas! I think that movie is so Christmassy and funny. We have watched it every Christmas eve and it has become our little tradition.

2. Are you on the naughty list or the nice list this year?
I am on that nice list this year! I am a pretty good person, I'm very mature and wise and do good things in life.

 3. What is the best Christmas present you have ever received?
That would be Enrique Iglesias tickets. I love him and have been in love with his music for a long time. So when I received the tickets at Christmas I cried and was over the moon. Best present I have ever had! He also made this year for me by replying and following me on twitter on the 15/11/13 :D

4. Have you ever had a white Christmas?
I live in the UK and we hardly get snow around Christmas. Where I live we always get snow in the new year. I don't remember the last time it actually snowed on Christmas day or eve, but I think there was left over snow on the ground one Christmas day.

5.Where do you spend Christmas day?
I spend my Christmas day at home with my Mum and Dad and kitties! I love spending it at home with my family because I love being with them at this time of year and appreciating them and just having a lovely Christmas time together. I have spend Christmas with extended family and that is lovely too! But normally its at home.

6.What is your favourite Christmas song?

I love most of the Christmas songs so its hard to pick just one song. I do love Merry Christmas everybody by Slade and Proper Crimbo by Bo Selecta.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A8KT365wlA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqBF7TiyATo

7. Do you open presents on Christmas eve or Christmas day?
Christmas eve we get to open 1 present which is Pj's for that night and some chocolates to enjoy while watching movies. We open are actual presents Christmas morning.

8. What Christmas tradition are you looking forward to the most this year?
I look forward to Christmas eve the most! we have our tradition on that night and everything feels so magical and special and everyone is excited for the big day ( Christmas day ) What we do is have a relax half of the day because in the tea time we always go to a restaurant on Christmas eve so I get a bubble bath with a Christmas lush bath product ( always Christmas eve bubble bar ) Then get dressed up for the restaurant. When we come home from our meal we get into our new Pj's and watch Christmas movies together eating chocolates and drinking some wine. Then when it gets late I go up to bed and do any wrapping I need to do and check twitter and youtube and my mum and dad are still down stairs wrapping all my presents. Then we go to sleep and feel so excited that its impossible to sleep So I look forward to Christmas eve.

9. Do you stay in your Pj's for Christmas day or dress up?
Christmas day we relax in our Pj's! Its our tradition unless family visits or we go to family. Mostly we are at home in our pj's and its the best!
10. Is your Christmas tree white or green? ( or any other colour like pink)
Our Christmas tree downstairs is green with gold decorations and lights. My Christmas tree in my bedroom is pink with gold and pink decorations. I do want to change my bedroom Christmas tree to green because I think it looks more Christmassy.

11. Do you like coloured lights or white lights?
I love coloured lights even though in my house downstairs we have white! I think coloured lights look festive and I love seeing the different colours twinkle, it makes me feel like Christmas is here/coming.

12. Be honest! Do you like receiving or giving gifts on Christmas?

I think we all love receiving gifts at the lovely time! Its nice and full of excitement of the unknown gifts waiting for us to rip open. I also have to say I really enjoy giving gifts also! Its the feeling of going out to find the perfect gifts, wrapping them up, waiting for the big day were you can see the faces lit up when they receive your gifts and see their happiness and appreciation. I love opening gifts and receiving them, but I also love giving.

13. When do you start your Christmas shopping? are you a late Christmas shopper?
I start to shop for the Christmas gifts the first weeks into December. I am never a last minute shopper, Christmas shopping is already a little stress trying to find the perfect gifts why make it worse and leave it till the last minute? I got to spend time with my Christmas shopping so I start in the beginning of December sometimes I do have 1 or 2 gifts to get like in the middle of December but I never am a late shopper :-)
14.Are you a pro present wrapper or fail?
I fail. I am awful at wrapping even when people show me how to wrap nice, I can never get it looking neat. I am so awful at it that one year I wrapped my mum's gift as a sweet wrapper ( Its a great way to hide what the gift actually looks like ) It was like this picture...

15. Do you wish you didn't find out the truth about Santa?
I do yes! It took that magic away and that special feeling about Christmas eve. Even though Christmas is so magical and special without that belief, I think it just made Christmas feel wonderful.

16. What is your best thing on your plate when your ready to eat your Christmas dinner?

I love our Christmas dinner, My Dad cooks a gorgeous meal! I would say the Turkey is the best thing on my plate because its the one thing you only eat on Christmas day.

17. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? ( NO google! )
I only remember a few... Dasher, Prancer, Dixion, Rudolf ahh that's all I can remember.

18. When you dress up for Christmas what is your makeup look that you love to do for Christmas?
I love to do, smoky eye shadow like brown, or bronze with a red glossy lipstick. I think that just looks very winter with the smoky eyes and Christmas with the red glossy lips.
19. What Christmas treat do you enjoy to eat?
I like to eat the Christmas Santa's. They look so cute and every time I see one in a store I always want one! The chocolate tastes yummy!

20. What Christmas decoration do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy the lights more than anything else because I love looking at the twinkle lights and I love seeing the lights on other houses, it looks so pretty and when Christmas is gone I miss the lights so much.

21. What makes Christmas so special for you?
The feeling of Christmas when it comes closer. Spending time with my family and giving and receiving gifts. This time of year is very Jolly and magical and I love seeing the people I love happy :)
So that is the Holly Jolly Christmas tag! If your struggling getting into the Christmas Spirit you should try and do this tag, I promise you it will get you into the Christmas mood and make you feel warm and fuzzy.

Train your hair! ♥

Greasy hair be gone!
Don't you just hate it when you have washed your hair and styled it and it looks pretty, 2nd day comes and its greasy!!! I know I hate that, but what I am going to share with you is a way where you can train your hair to not become greasy as quick. I recommend giving it a full week without washing your hair, if you have never done this before. This is so your hair can go a full week without stripping the natural oils from your hair, so it wont be producing any oils. If you have done this before and you continue doing so, I recommend giving it 5 days. This gives your hair 5 days without stripping any oils from it and gives it enough time to train your hair to go without washing for a few days. All you need to do is try and not wash your hair for a week or 5 days and let your hair relax from producing them natural oils you have been stripping away. This will trigger something in your hair that will make it stop producing oils so quickly, so greasy hair is gone for a couple more days longer. It will be hard for some people to not wash your hair for that amount of time, but I am going to share ways that will make it easier.

Shower Caps!
You still have to shower or have a bath when doing this training for your hair. So what I suggest is wearing a shower cap when doing so. I clip my hair up on my head and then put the shower cap on. This is easier and makes the hair more safe and secure.

Dry Shampoo is your BFF!
This will be your savior for the week your training your hair. I use the batiste dry shampoo but I would not use this on day 2 or 3 I would use it near the last 2 days of the week because dry shampoo will build up and you will have to wash your hair or it will leave a noticeable white cast if you use it at the beginning of the week. So to keep your hair looking not as dirty use a little bit of dry shampoo. Also when you have done the week without washing your hair, use dry shampoo instead of washing on the 2nd day if it starts to become greasier.

Clip your hair up and out of your face.
While training your hair it is important that your hair is out of your face. Your hair will get dirty and you don't want that touching your face, plus it looks less dirty and noticeable if your hair is clipped away from your face. Keep your hair up in a bun, or bobble or clamp and maybe tease it a little bit. Hats or headbands are good too!

Go one day longer!
If you can, try to go that one day longer when it comes to washing your hair. After you have trained your hair and your back to washing your hair every other day. Try and stretch that out and go one day longer this will be a mini train for your hair to go that one day longer without producing any oils. Use dry shampoo if you need to, but going that one day longer is going to make a difference.

Do the week training 2 or 3 times each month.
Doing this one time is not going to train your hair enough. You have to keep doing it to really teach your hair and train it to not get greasy as quick. So I recommend doing the whole week without washing 2 or 3 times each month, depending on how quick your hair gets greasy.

So that is my quick tip for you! I know genetics play apart in it too, some people just have much more greasier hair than others but I do think you can stretch that by not washing it as often and training your hair to not produce them oils. This is worth doing, it will be help to you if you have hardly any time on your hands or your going on a vacation or school or work. I hoped this helped and please leave me a comment telling me your thoughts, tips and if you have done this. Byeeeee :D Xxx

Candles review! ❤

As well as makeup and beauty items I am a lover for candles! Yes I think every girl is right? I loves them and love to light them when I want to relax in my bedroom with a book or film or in a hot bubble bath. I received three candles from Wax Lyrical http://www.wax-lyrical.com/ and I thought I would review them for you candle lovers!

*Disclaimer These candles were sent to me for review but all reviews and opinions are 100% my own*

1. Sweet Shop Candle. http://www.wax-lyrical.com/candles-scents/candles/candle-jars/sweet-shop-small-candle-jar.html
I saw the name sweet shop and I had to have, I love any sweet scent even for my perfume. Sweet smells call my name so I had high hopes with this candle. The notes in the candle are juicy raspberry, Plumb, Peach and frosted vanilla. Yum?! You can smell the vanilla and raspberry more than the plumb and peach when your smelling it in the jar. I decided to take a hot bubble bath and light this candle and enjoy the yummy sweet shop smell. I have to admit about 10 minutes passed and no smell was happening * sad face * But then about 20 minutes passed and I started to smell some Vanilla and sweeties smell. * happy face * It is a very subtle smell it will not make your house or room smell of this candle just a little area where the candle is lit,A slight scent will occur after some time. I was a tiny disappointed because I wanted a stronger scent and smell them yummy sweets but I only got to smell it a tiny bit. The candle is great for people who want a subtle scent, nothing to fancy.

2. Cherry blossom candle.http://www.wax-lyrical.com/candles-scents/candles/candle-jars/cherry-blossom-candle-jar.html
This is a girly candle, not just because of the pink jar it is in, but of the smell! The notes in the candle are a rich sweet floral scent, notes of freesia and pink pepper, and cherry blossom. I lit this and straight away smelt the scent of the girly cherry blossom. My room had a hint of girlyness to it. Its not to over floral, I am not a fan of rose/flower scents. This didn't smell flowery, it was a very mature fruity scent with a hint of flowers. I was happy that I did not have to wait long to smell it, when I am feeling girly this is the candle to light! :D

3. Chamomile & Violet candle.http://www.wax-lyrical.com/candles-scents/candles/gift-boxed-candles/chamomile-and-violet-candle.html
Oh this is my favorite one of the three. ( saved the best till last ) before I tell you why I love it, this is what the smell is... Chamomile, citrus notes, lemon blossom, musk and essential oils. Now I love to relax before bed, so I thought this candle was the perfect candle to sooth me into that bedtime sleepy mood, and it did! The soothing smell of the oils and chamomile was making my whole bedroom smell like a relaxing spa.The candle jar is very relaxing too, with its amethyst color. It is the perfect candle for me, because I love relaxing smells and love to feel like I am in a spa. The scents linger around the room, but not to strong to make your house smell of it. Lighting this in the bath would be heaven too. I recommend this candle scent out of the three. Best strongest smell. <3

That is my candle review! Tell me your candle your loving at the moment :D ?

Girls Christmas Gift Guide ♥

Christmas is around the corner and I am one of those people that LOVE shopping for gifts! BUT sometimes I walk into a shop and walk out with nothing because I have no clue what to get people when I say people I am talking about the girls. So I thought there must be others out there that are the same and get a little clueless or stuck on what to buy so as you can tell by the title this is my top 10 gifts to buy for girls!!! :D

1. Perfume or body splashes.
I am a lover for perfume and smelling amazing so I had to put this as my first one. Always make sure you know what scent whoever your buying for likes. For me that is sweet, fruity and sometimes a little musk/spice. Sometimes I like to wear a body splash then a perfume, or just a body splash so that is also a great gift if your not feeling confident to pick a perfume.
The 3 perfect perfume gifts I would pick?

Thierry mugler alien

White musk smoky rose

Victoria's secret pure seduction

2.Makeup Palette.
If the women your buying for has a thing for makeup and eye shadows, then a makeup palette is a gift you should buy. If the women your buying for wears eye shadow but not heavy then try a nude, warm toned palette. If she likes color and POP and Wow try bright colors, colorful and glitter!
These palettes I recommend for any girl who loves makeup...
The top 3 palettes I would pick as a gift?

Nude Tude  by the Balm

Naked Urban Decay

urban decay vice 2

3. Skincare.
Depending on the age, skin type of the girl your buying for skincare is a fantastic gift to buy. I have combination skin so I love anything that will help and sooth oily spots and to hydrate my skin. These products are worth buying...

Purity 3-in-1 cleanser by Philosophy

Kiehl's creamy eye treatment with avocado oils

I love candles, bath time, bed time any time you can enjoy lighting a candle and relaxing. I can't really recommend any candles because I just buy any that smell good. I can recommend the magic colour changing candle that is AMAZING! I use it in the bath and wow the mood it sets, makes you so soothed.

6. Bath and shower.

Who does not get a pair of pajamas on Christmas? I get mine on Christmas eve and so does my mum and dad its a tradition open one present on Christmas eve which is pajamas to cosy in with a Christmas DVD ( getting excited thinking about it ) AND you need some fluffy socks to walk in around the house when its cold. So pajamas for yourself ;), slippers for your nan, fluffy socks for your sister and a bath robe for your mum! sorted!

8. Mugs.
Someone in your family has to love tea or coffee or a hot drink and would love a new mug! I know my Dad loves his mugs so this is a great gift idea for him. ( even though he has so many) I love the mugs that has funny sayings on, so in a morning you can drink out of your mug that will make you giggle. Or ones that go with the persons personality mine is makeup...

9.Hand creams or body butters/lotions.
Winter time gives us dry skin on our hands so we need that hand lotion ( idea for a perfect gift for someone older) I think its a lovely gift when someone buys you hand cream, or body lotions makes me feel like they know me so well ( girly side/pampering) I recommend...

10. Chocolates and Wine!!!
Christmas is not complete without chocolates and a nice drink!!!!!!
