The Me Time Tag! ♥
Welcome back to
my blog! I saw this tag around youtube and I thought it was right up my street
because I love talking about 'me time and pamper nights and all that cosy stuff
so I thought it would be nice to do this tag on my blog, and I tag everyone of
you reading this! xo
1.What do you watch or
read during me time?
When I am relaxing and having me time I go
through my youtube subscriptions and watch my favourite youtubers, I also like
to watch a chick flick like Bridget Jones or Clueless. For reading I like to
read The Secret which is a fabulous positive thinking book, and I also like to
read The day I shot cupid by Jennifer Love Hewitt my favourite actress ever!
That book is about her stories on love, boys and all girl talk.
2. What do you wear
during me time?
I love pyjama's so I wear them during my
relaxing me time I have been loving the fleece type because it has been getting
chilly where I live so it's so snugly, warm and super comfy! Also a pair of fluffy socks is a must.
3. What are your me
time beauty products?
Like all girls I love having a candle-lit bubble
bath for my relaxing me time and I love using a Lush bath product, my top go to
is the Comforter bubble bar which does exactly what it says - comforts you, and
makes the best, biggest, softest, frothiest bubbles. I also like to use a face
mask, My go to is the Lush mask of magnaminty, its super minty and pulls all
the dirt, oil and bacteria and leaves my skin feeling baby soft, super clean
and looking brighter and not oily. Sometimes If I need to take 5 minutes out of
my day, if I am feeling abit stressed or bored or I need a bit of me time a
good hand cream makes me feel relaxed and pampered.
I am currently not wearing nail polish and I haven't
for a couple of weeks so I don't have a current favourite, but the nail polish
colours I normally go for is reds like a cherry red or a blood red and a also I
love a hot pink colour.
5. What do you
eat/drink during me time?
Chocolate is the main thing I love to eat during
me time, or Doughnuts which I heat up in the microwave and oh its so good! I
like some cheese puff crisps and some sour sweets. For drinks I am addicted to
the Cherry Pepsi max coke, I also like to drink a chocolate milkshake and if I
am getting real pampered I will have a chocolate milkshake and squirt cream on
the top and add some chocolate sprinkles- it's heaven.
6. Current Favourite
Candle?
I love candles especially during me time. I burn
regular tea light candles, and I also like to burn cinnamon, spicy candles
during this time of the year!!
7. Do you ever have
outdoor me time?
I used to when I had my dog Lucy, but when she
passed away I no longer have outdoor me time. I am more of a home girl so I
don't have the need to go outdoors. The only time I do have that type of me
time is shopping in town, that is a perfect me time!
8. Would you ever go
see a movie alone?
I don't think I would because I prefer watching
movies at home being comfy and cosy, the only time I go to the movies is to
have a nice time with a friend or my family.
9. Favourite Online
Shop?
I don't do much online shopping in my me time, If I want to browse I like looking through the Superdrug, Boots and Selfridge's website. Ikea and Ebay but in my me time I am obsessed with looking through Pinterest! It's so therapeutic for me.
10. Anything to add?
What else do you do during me time?
I do a candle lit bubble bath, face mask and
hair mask, watch movies and I love organising my makeup and skincare drawers
and my bedroom. Organising is so therapeutic for me. I also scroll through
twitter, instagram and play candy crush, temple run and any other apps and
games. I also love doing the Relax, sleep well meditation app by Glenn Harrold
before bed, that makes me feel super sleepy, super calm and de stressed.
That is the me time tag complete I hope you enjoyed reading and getting to know what I do for my me time, I tag everybody! xo

Superdrug Haul! ♥
I have
another haul to blog about. The last one was a LUSH haul and this one is a
superdrug haul. I love these kind of posts because I come away from that blog
post with a long shopping list! I hope you enjoy reading!xo
SimplePure Eye makeup remover.
This is a
gentle eye makeup remover from the superdrug brand. I have used this since
buying it and it is super gentle and did not irritate my eyes, it's not greasy
or sticky and removes my eye makeup and waterproof mascara quick and easy! I remove my eye makeup by putting this onto a cotton pad and pressing it onto my eyes for about 10 seconds then I wipe away!
Revlon Creme lipstick in the colour ' Va Va Violet '
I have been
wanting a dark violet, plum kind of lipstick and it's been a nightmare to find
one, then I spotted this shade. It looks super vampy and dark in the packaging
but when applied it to the lips it's not as dark. If I don't want the lipstick
to be as intense I apply it by dabbing and using less of a heavy hand and then
blend it with my finger. It's a lovely colour and has pinky/purple undertones
to it so it does not wash me out. It also feels super creamy and moisturising! I
have not wore it yet to see what the staying power is like, I have only tried
it on my lips when I got home for a little bit. Revlon always has great
lipsticks that last a good time so I'm not that worried!
Revlon matte lipstick in the colour ' Sultry Samba '
Oh this is
beautiful! This is a bright pink shade with a slight purple undertone. With
this lipstick you can control how dark or light you want it to be, and still
get the coverage you want. The matte finish is beautiful, not at all drying in fact it's very creamy. It will look great on every skin tone and with it's
purple/blush undertone it makes your teeth look a little whiter!
Revolution welcome to pleasuredome palette.
This palette caught my eye because of the stunning shades. This palette has 18 eye shadows, 12 shimmer and 6 matte! Which I love
because I love having a range of shimmer and matte. These shades range from neutral
to bright. From a cobalt blue to a shimmer beige. They are so pretty and
pigmented I can't wait to play around with this palette!
Revolution Focus and fix Liquid Concealer.
I picked this up because I needed a new concealer and I never tried anything
from this brand so I was trying new things out from the Revolution brand. This concealer
is a creamy formula and long wearing, it provides a natural finish, hides and
conceals them dark circles, blemishes and provides a high coverage. This is
also available in 6 shades. I chosen the light shade.
Revolution blush in the shade' hot'
For £1 you get a
pigmented, blendable blush! I looked through the shades and picked this one
which is a hot pink, but when transferred onto the skin it becomes more softer.
When I tried the tester it was super
pigmented, so a light hand is needed when applying!
Sleek blush in the shade ' pomegranate'
I love sleek
blushes, I have a little collection! They are my go to drug store blushes. So pigmented it's insane. Such pretty shades and most of them have a shimmer that
sits perfect on the cheekbones. I picked the shade ' pomegranate' which is a
berry pink shade with a slight blue undertone.
Vaseline cocoa radiant lotion.
I used to have this, I used about 3 bottles and then
stopped buying it. I had to buy it again because it kept my skin super hydrated
and soft! More than any other lotions I have. This has pure cocoa butter to moisturise and
heal dry skin and give the skin its natural glow. It's a creamy non sticky or greasy lotion
that smells like coco and chocolate. The scent is not sickly or overpowering, I
love it! Glad it's back in my life, especially for these cold weathers!
Carmex moisturising lip balm.
I have never tried carmex before, but since I have been
suffering with dry lips I decided to give it a try since it's nearly everyone's
holy grail! This says it restores moisture, adds natural emollients to your lips and
protects against chapping, cracking and the cold and wind weathers. I tried
this and wow it did wonders to my lips, it has a mint scent remind me of vicks
chest rub. It feels cooling and soothing on my lips, and give my lips a nice
soft and moisturising feel. It has helped and soothed my dry lips, I like it so
far!
That completes
my superdrug haul! I hope you enjoyed reading xo

Review: Luxury Lush Pud bath bomb!♥
So last year I
bought the Luxury lush pud bath bomb from lush, and was sadly disappointed when
I plonked it in my tub! I did a honest review which I will link HERE:http://makeupwithkimmy.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/lush-review-luxury-lil-lush-pud-bath.html This
year, before going on my shopping trip I noticed some of my favourite youtubers
mentioning this bath bomb, I decided to look up reviews and also read the lush
website description. It sucked me in and I had to try it out for a 2nd time
because I also noticed the bath bomb looked different from last year and the
reviews were pretty outstanding. So my thoughts, opinions and honest review on
this luxury lush pud bath bomb...
The way this bath
bomb looks has you sold already. It's so pretty and interesting and colourful
because of all the colour spots around the bath bomb. Also it's a nice festive
touch to this time of the year because of the holly design on the top. Oh the
scent of this bath bomb is beautiful, very calm and sweet and soft very much
like the bath bomb twilight. I plonked this colourful lush pud bath bomb in my
bath and WOW...
I was stunned! I had
to call my mum and dad in to let them see it. My water was turning all these
bright, pastel, colours looking like a beautiful, pastel, colourful, island, it
was so cool! The colours were so vibrant and colourful it kept me happy and
satisfied throughout my whole bathtime along with the beautiful, relaxing,
scent of ylang ylang and lavender oils which helped me stay relaxed and soothed
and very happy.
Once the bath bomb
fizzed out, my water was a rose pink colour with swirls of the amazing pastel
colours floating around. Frothy, soft and small bubbles were formed and sitting
on top of the bubbles were tiny speckles of shimmer and a silky, soft bath
water was surrounding me moisturising my body. The aroma of the ylang ylang and
lavender oils still lingered and smelling beautiful. I was in a colourful,
relaxing heaven in my bath tub! It was not at all disappointing and not at all
anything like last year. So I think I either got a bad bath bomb or lush
changed it, but it certainly has changed my opinion to a happy, satisfied one!
When I got out the
bath my body was not baby soft, but felt silky and smooth which I liked. I did
not get any shimmer on my skin from the tiny shimmers on the bubbles which was a
plus because I'm not a fan of glitter from bath bombs on my skin. The soft
scent was also slightly on my body, which I also enjoyed and I felt super
happy. That bath bomb made me feel happy and just really relaxed and in a happy
place.
This bath bomb is
beautiful and crazy, and makes you feel relaxed and happy and also the colours
just amaze you! All the lovely things in this bath bomb like the tiny shimmer,
soft and frothy bubbles, silky water and the amazing soothing smell will make a
lovely bath time treat for anyone!! I love this bath bomb- yay!!!!

What I bought In Lush. ♥
Hello, Welcome back! Let me just start off by saying
I spend some money and went on a splurge shopping treat well let's say retail
therapy. I bought a lot of things so I'm splitting my haul in sections... The
first one is a LUSH haul. Me and my old best friend LUSH! I love lush, the
scent of that shop, the friendly, helpful staff and the amazing products. I
used up all of my lush bath treats, skin products, everything! till the last
bit. So I was left Lushless ( ha ) that means going out and buying more to
start a new lush stash. I hope you enjoy reading and keep your eye balls open
for more hauls from me!! xo
Skin:
Ocean Salt.
This is one I had before, used it up and had to
get another one! This is a Sea salt scrub for your face and body. A fabulous
exfoliate it gives you, it's great for all skin types. It has sea salt which is
amazing for acne and also cleanses and tones the skin, seaweed, coconut oil , organic
lime and avocado butter which is good for dry skin to moisturise, soften and
refresh. It helps with blocked pores, blackheads, acne and basically gives you
a fantastic exfoliation removing dead skin cells, grub and dirt leaving your
skin clean, clear and super soft and moisturised.
Mask Of Magnaminty.
Another one I loved, used all up and had to buy
another one. I actually needed this a few nights ago and didn't have it so I am
so glad I have it back in my life. The scent of this mask is intense but
amazing, very minty/peppermint. This mask has got marigold and chlorophllin to
treat the skin for any eruptions/breakouts, honey to moisturise and antiseptic
and edukie beans and primrose seeds to gently exfoliate and of course
peppermint to stimulate. When you apply the mask you look like you belong in
them old movies with the green face mask- its great. Not forgetting the
tightness and pulling out the oil, dirt and bacteria from your skin. It's a
great mask, very popular and highly recommend!
Bath Bombs:
Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb
Now there is a story behind this little bath bomb.
I used this last year and was disappointed. It just turned my water purple and
that was it, no sounds, no moisturising milky water, no colours nothing just
purple water. BUT reading blog posts, reviews and some youtube reviews people
seem to like this bath bomb, so maybe I was being picky that night and need to
try it again, maybe I want the purple water, basically I wanted to try it
again, because the scent sucked me in OK! Damn you Lavender! I also noticed the
bath bomb looked different from last year. This says it has coloured polka dots
that float to the surface making your bath a pastel island in the water ( fun
or what! ) Then here come the scents... Lavender oil ( yes you can smell that,
so beautiful ) Sweet benzoin and tonka. It says that the scent is like the bath
bomb twilight, which I also love. So with all that description, youtube and
blog post reviews and the amazing, sweet and soft scents I had to give this pud
bath bomb another go!
Cinders
This is another must have lush product for me.
Especially around this weather/time of the year. Cinders has you feeling like you're
sitting with blankets, all comfy and cosy with a hot chocolate listening and
watching the fire crackling. Yes all that from a bath bomb, impressive! This
bath bomb has pop rocks on the top of it, so when you plonk this baby in it
pops, and crackles just like the sound of a fire. The scent of this bath bomb?
I'd say cinnamon and spice and very warm and perfect.
Butterball.
I don't think I have had this bath bomb before, I
can't actually remember I have been through that many. This is another perfect
bath time treat for this time of the year, This is for dry, sensitive or
irritated skin. It's vanilla and coco butter with Ylang ylang. So you can
imagine how calm and sweet and yummy this smells. When you plonk this in the
bath your bath will be creamy, buttery and moisturising. With the Ylang Ylang
you will feel super calm, de stressed and relaxed. This bath bomb is just
basically a moisturising, milky, silky, creamy, treat for me and my skin and I
will do a review on this when I have used it.
Bubble Bars:
Magic Wand
I have never used this, I seen
it last year I think but never picked it up. First it's the cutest thing ever, it's
a pink star on a stick and I think its adorable. Snow fairy is my all time favourite
sweet smell from lush and this magic wand makes snow fairy scented bubbles!!!!!
Since snow fairy is the most popular fragrance they decided to make this bubble
bar for the fans of the snow fairy. You swish the wand in your bath and it
makes bubbles that smell like snow fairy, then you can pop it somewhere to dry
out so you can get several bath uses out of this magic wand. Oh I am so excited
to use this and I will do review!
Christmas Eve
I used this last Christmas eve,
exactly on Christmas eve because I had to! It felt right. I loved it so much
that this year I had to buy it again. Firstly it looks super relaxing and calm.
This is filled with ylang ylang and jasmine. It is a moon shaped bubble bar
that you crumble under running water, it turns your bath a calming blue and
makes bubbles and a moisturising milky water and a calm, relaxed scent. This is
perfect for Christmas eve, when your all excited and can't sleep, plonk this in
your bath and your mind will relax and slow down.
The Comforter.
Every single time I walk into
LUSH I pick up this old favourite of mine. The comforter and what a perfect name for it,
because it does exactly that- comforts! It smells sweet and soft and it makes
the softest, frothiest, best, sweet, smelling bubbles that comfort you and your
tired or run down body and mind. It's also a huge bubble bar so you can get a
lot of bath uses out of it. You break a piece off and crumble it under running
water, then you relax and let the comforter comfort you.
That is everything I bought
from LUSH. I will do reviews on some of the products and I will be back with
another haul in a few days... xo
