Organic Coconut Oil ❤

Recently I have been loving using Organic Coconut Oil for many beauty reasons. I came across a video on youtube a couple of months ago talking about organic coconut oil and how it works wonders for many different beauty reasons. A company called Lucy Bee sent me out a 300ml jar and I done all my little research on it. Its a sold oil but when you rub it in or get it warm with your hands it turns into oil.  I have been using it for 2 weeks now so I thought I would share all the ways I use organic coconut oil for beauty reasons...

Pre Shampoo mask
To put the hydration back into your hair if its getting dry or is dry use this as a pre shampoo. What I do is comb my hair, wet it a little bit and then cover my hair roots to ends in the coconut oil. This is going to hydrate your hair before you do your normal washing routine, it just adds something extra to keep your hair healthy.

conditioner
This can also be used as a nice conditioner its organic and an oil so it will add softness to the ends of your hair. You can also use this as a deep conditioner by adding some of your deep conditioner and some of the organic coconut oil into a bowl or your hand and mix it together then apply it to the ends of your hair. You can even use it as a lip conditioner!

Hydration Oil.
You can apply this to your ends of your hair like you would with an argon oil to keep the frizz down and a nice hydrated hair.

Treat your dandruff.
If you mix tea tree with the coconut oil you can use it as a dandruff treatment.

Facial Night oil
If you have dry skin this will be a nice night time oil to apply to your face. Its organic so no harm done and its coconut so smells gorgeous. I can't use it as a oil because I have oily skin so its yuck for my skin type.

Scrub.
If you mix baking soda with it you have a nice gentle scrub for your face and lips!

Clean your ears
Use a cotton bud and clean your ears fabulous way to do it!

Shaving Oil
Applying it to your skin before shaving can make a fabulous smooth shave, because its getting closer to the skin.

Bath Oil
I am one of those people that love to drop some oils in the bath and adding the coconut oil is heaven the smell is so good and it keeps my skin super soft.

Massage Oil
If your wanting to give a massage to yourself or someone use this as an massage oil!

Soothing Irritated or cracked skin
Rub this on your feet or elbows or any where you have cracked skin and it will help sooth and hydrate!

Hope you try it, you can use it for food and cooking but this is a beauty blog so they are all the beauty reasons to use it. Let me know how you use it and if you have ?! x

  7. Great post Kimmy! It seems counter-productive but oil is actually good for all skin types even if you have oily skin. If you look up the oil cleansing method you can see that the oil actually helps to pull all the dirt and excess oils out of your skin whilst keeping it hydrated. xxx

  10. Coconut oil also works incredibly well at removing makeup as it's so gentle on the skin. Takes a little longer than other removers for heavy eyemakeup but the conditioning properties work wonders on your eyelashes so in my opinion it's worth it! Put a little onto a cotton pad and hold to the eye for around 10 seconds and wipe.
