Loves and dislikes of this month.

My loves and dislikes of August.

Months are flying by so quick, its goodbye August and Hello September. I love September because its my Birthday month ( 29th) and I love coming out of Summer and into the colder months. So here is my loves of this month...

Max Factor face finity 3-in-1 foundation.
With foundations its always been a tough one, there is never a foundation that gives me such beautiful coverage and lasts a couple of hours without re touching, when I found this foundation I finally found what I needed. This foundation is a primer, concealer and foundation all in one. It gives me the best coverage without caking it on my face. It feels smooth and has a nice feel on my skin, it lasts pretty much all day and does not fade off. Best foundation I have found for my skin, it does not take away the natural face look, but it does cover up problem spots really well.

Mac Blush in the colour Dame.
Mac is that one company we all LOVE. I have been loving this colour on my cheeks this month, it is a light pink but not to light. It gives me a nice flush of colour and it feels very soft when I apply it. It is pigmented but does not give you an over done blush look. I have been wearing it pretty much all the time!

Rimmel London Volume booster lip plumping gloss in the colour Provoke.
I have never been a fan of the lip plumping glosses they always seem to hurt my lips and give them that prickly feeling. When I tried this one it just feels cooling, as if you put a really fresh cool toothpaste on your lips. It feels minty cool not stingy or prickly which I was glad about. The colour is a beautiful pinky red with a few sparkles in, the sparkles are not chunky and apply nicely on the lips. This gloss gives a shine and a pump to your lips but not very noticeable ( you wont look like you have had lip fillers ) I don't see a difference in my lips that much but I love it for the cool, fresh, feeling and the beautiful colour and shine.

Mary Lou Manizer by the Balm.
THE BEST HIGHLIGHTER IN THE WORLD! I can't get enough of this, its such a beautiful champagne highlight that sits nicely on your cheekbones.  This can also be used as an eyeshadow. Its very pigmented so a little bit goes a long way, its silky and very easy to blend and apply. I wear this every day, on the lids or cheekbones. The packaging is so adorable too!

Clean&Clear deep action cream wash.
This wash really does clean the skin and clears the pores. I love how you can actually feel this working, it feels minty and cooling and has a tingling sensation. You can feel it pulling all the dirt out and giving your skin that clean it needs. This is a gentle wash, that does not irritate or break me out. I have been loving washing my face with this every night.

Schwarzkopf Super Soft Coconut shampoo & Conditioner.
Washing my hair in this shampoo feels luxurious. The scent of coconut lingers in my hair even after blow drying/styling. Its amazing how it leaves my hair feeling silky and so soft. It gives my hair a shine and smells so yummy. I love this shampoo and I use it all the time. The conditioner leaves my ends very smooth and in good condition. There is other scents if your not a fan of coconut, but its my favorite one.

Not loving this month...

Barry M Gelly nail varnish.
At the start I did love these, The colours were all pretty and when applied they looked good, Until I began wearing them a lot more and noticed how easy they chip! I have really small nails so I don't chip as quick as other people, But it was so easy to chip. I don't think the Hi shine works because I have to apply a coat of clear nail varnish to give it some shine. I LOVE the colours they are so pretty and I wish they would not chip as much, and I wish it done what I says on the bottle ( hi shine) but its something I have began to not love this month. :(

Benefit they're real mascara.
I got a little sample of this in a magazine, and I was so happy because I heard good reviews about it. When I tired it I was so disappointed, the mascara was so wet, that wet it was hard to work with without getting it on my lids and nose. Then after applying it I noticed how stuck together my lashes was, and how clumpy and stumpy they looked. Putting aside how wet it was,it did nothing for my lashes. I do love Benefit bad gal lash mascara so I will stick with that one.

MUA Primer.
When I applied this Primer it felt so greasy and sticky. I tried to put that aside and apply it to my face I noticed how it made my face really oily, I thought the oiliness will calm down after I do my whole makeup. So after a few hours ( about 3) I noticed my foundation and powder was fading off and looking oily. I was disappointed because I knew the primer had done nothing but make my makeup be a disaster. After taking my makeup off and doing my skincare routine I noticed how my skin broke out ( great another problem with the primer) Never using that again! :( I love MUA products though so the brand and me are still friends.

  2. I use Bad Gal and They're Real together, that way you get the length but the Bad Gal helps to plump out and separate your lashes a bit.
